Third Person POV:
It was finally the day, Splinter and Sia were standing by the forest with all their supplies. The two looked around them one last time before heading towards the eerie looking forest.
Sia's POV:
The forest was....quite odd, there were really weird bird sounds and odd creatures I've never seen. At one point, the forest started turning into a swamp. It was all muddy and hard to walk through, I almost lost my prosthetic leg many times, but no one needs to know that. The swamp land was really uncomfortable, it didn't help that the birds began to become quiet as we treached deeper. I looked over to Splinter, who looked uncomfortable and scared. "Maybe it's a good idea to rest for a little bit, we both need to rest." Splinter went to object but decided against it. After searching for a while we found a big oak tree and decided to rest under the roots of the tree. As we got closer to the oak though it was completely dead silent, which was odd for such a big tree.
Me and Splinter set up out things under the tree and began to lay down. As I slept though, I had an odd dream. There were three flowers in the dream and not too far from the three flowers a sun symbol casually hovered over the sky. I felt an odd urge to walk towards the items. I hesitated before slowly taking steps closer, and as I did I heard voices, all saying different things. I tried to ignore them until a voice said something in my ear that I could clearly hear. "Kin protect kin and the sun will crumble!" It said in a hushed whisper. I was about to see who had whispered the message but instead jumped awake. Man I hate it when a dream gets interesting and you wake up!
I looked outside from under the tree to see it was about midnight. It was still eerily quiet, but I won't question it. I tried to fall back asleep, but after awhile felt like someone was staring at me...strange.
Unknown POV (bc why not add this in?):
I was patrolling as usual when I saw a Snowfur and some weird looking fox walking through the woods, they were heading for the giant oak tree that everyone knows to avoid. I felt bad for the poor souls so I proceeded to watch them, ya know, like a creep. I stared at them for a couple hours till who we like to call 'lil rabbit' came up to me. "CamCam! You were supposed to be home hours ago! What were you doing!" She said in a worried tone. I chuckled and patted her head. "Relax Lil rabbit, just watching the two foxes that decided it would be a good idea to sleep under the scrapingler oak, ya know, the one were suppose to avoid?" As I said this her face twister in fear and started to slowly turn to the scrapingler oak. "May the gods and goddesses bless their souls, they'll be lucky to survive at least a days in these woods without the knowledge we have!" She squeaked before looking at me. "Ima tell emo to keep a look out!" She squeaked again before running off. If I forgot to mention he call our older sister 'Emo' because she's so dang moody, we even made her a song for when she's moody! But back to these two walnuts, let's pray they last long enough for the patrols to find them.
