They were exhausted, and hungry. But, they never stopped. They kept going.

They found a construction site. And found a new walkie.

They ran back into the woods and found a rock. Eddie called it "skull rock."

Y/n sat under the rock. And sighed. It was the first time they relaxed in hours.

She was tired.. exhausted.

"Dustin."

"Earth to Dustin." Said Eddie, speaking into the walkie.

"Hey Eddie, are you guys okay?" Dustin asks through the walkie.

"Nah, man. Pretty... Pretty goddamn far from okay." Eddie answers.

"Where are you..?" Asks Dustin.

"Skull rock. Do you know it..?" Replied Eddie.

"Uh, yeah. That's near Cornwallis and-" Dustin says, confused.

"Gerrett, yeah. I know where that is." Interrupted Steve.

"Hold tight, we're coming. We're coming." Dustin says frantically.

Eddie nods his head, tearing up.

He looks up, and sighs.

"Hey, everything is going to be alright. I got you." Y/n says, grabbing his hand.

He looks over at her and smiles, laying his head on her shoulder.

...

"Oh boom. bada bing, bada boom. There she is, Henderson. Skull rock. In your face, man. In your stupid, cocky little face."

They hear voices getting closer, making them both flinch.

"Doesn't make sense." Says Dustin.

"Yeah, yeah. Even with it staring you in the face, you can't admit it. You just can't admit you're wrong, you butthead." Mocks Steve.

The two argue, as they start to crawl down from a top the rock. They jump down, landing directly behind the duo.

"I concur. You, Dustin Henderson, are a... Total butthead." Eddie says, sighing.

"Jesus, we thought you were a goner." Answers Dustin, hugging him.

"Yeah, me too, man. Me too." Answers Eddie, hugging him back.

Dustin looks over at y/n with a sympathetic smile.

...

"When we got to the shore, I tried calling you guys, but, uh... The walkie was busted, man. Drenched." Said Eddie, drinking some well needed water.

"So, uh, we did the thing that we do now, apparently. We ran." Eddie continues, passing y/n the water.

"Do you know when this was? The attack?" Asked Nancy.

"Yeah, no, I... I know exactly what time it was. The walkie wasn't the only thing that got soaked." Eddie answered, taking his watch off, and throwing it towards Nancy.

"9:27." Said Nancy, looking at Eddie's wet watch.

"Same time our flashlights went kablooey." Replied Robin.
