"Somethings happening." Dustin says, panting.

"Dustin? Can you slow down? Dustin..?" Eddie says, also panting from the running.

"I think we're getting close." Smiles Dustin.

"Watch your step, big guy." Eddie says, catching Dustin before he falls into the water.

"Oh man." Says Steve.

"You gotta be shitting me." Y/n says.

Eddie looks over to her, and smiles.

"Yeah, I thought these woods were familiar." Said Eddie.

"Lovers Lake." Sighed y/n.

"This is.. confounding." Whispers Dustin.

"There's a gate in Lovers Lake..?" Asked Max.

"Whenever the Demogorgon attacked, it always left an opening. Maybe Vecna's the same way." Replied Nancy.

"Yeah, only one way to find out." Added y/n.

Eddie pulled the tarp off the boat y/n and him just got out of earlier.

"Easy. I... I said easy, man." Steve complained.

"Sorry, dude." Eddie responded.

"Here you go." Steve offers his hand to Robin.

"Yeah, I'm just gonna do that. Thank you." Answered Robin, putting her hands on top of Eddie's and Steve's head, helping herself get into the boat.

"Yeah, that works too." Replied Steve.

Eddie followed after her, reaching his hand out to grab y/n hand.

"Y/n." He said, gripping her hand right, and helping her into the boat.

"Thanks." She replied with a smile.

"Hey, hey, hey, you trying to sink us..?" Eddie asks Dustin as he walks towards the boat.

"This thing holds four people tops, okay?" Eddie continues.

"It's better this way, okay? You guys stay here with Max." Said Nancy, hopping into the boat.

"Keep an eye out for trouble." Y/n said.

"You keep an eye out." Shouted Dustin.

Y/n looked at him, shaking her head.

"It's my goddamn theory." Added Dustin.

"You heard y/n." Eddie replied.

"Who put him in charge?" Dustin asked, pointing at Eddie.

"I did." Robin replied.

Dustin looked at y/n like she was crazy.

"Compass." Nancy said, reaching out for it.

Dustin pouted before reaching in his pocket, and handing Nancy the compass.

"Hey, there you go." Steve says, throwing a heady bag at Dustin.

"Ow." Dustin said, watching Steve push the boat into the water.

Steve jumps into the boat, and they start floating away.

"You said four." Dustin yelled.

"Sorry." Whispered Steve.

"Bedtime at nine, kiddos." Y/n yelled, laughing.

Dustin flips her off, and Eddie looks at her, smiling.

"Miss you already." Y/n stood up, waving.
