At midnight
Kaeya's POV:
I see Aether sleeping on the couch and I look confused. I walk to him and I gently wake him up.
Aether: What...
Kaeya: Why are you sleeping out here?
Aether: Didn't want to wake up Ash.
Kaeya: You could have asked one of us to sleep in our room, you know.
Aether: I know but I didn't want to bother anyone.
I pick him up and I can tell that he is still sleepy. He rests his head on my shoulder and falls asleep. I walk into my room and set him down on my bed. I lay down next to him and he cuddles my chest. I cover us with a blanket and I kiss him on the head.
Two days later (Monday)
Aether's POV:
I walk out of my dorm with Xiao to our class and we sit down.
Xiao: Looks like the guy from before won't be sitting next to you today.
Aether: Yea, thank god.
Xiao pats my head and everyone else walks in. The teacher starts teaching the class and we hear a scream in the hallway.
Teacher: Really? Why now?
The teacher walks out to the hallway and I look at Xiao with worry. He notices my worry and rubs my hand.
Xiao: It's just Ash. Don't worry about it. He is just dragging someone to an empty room to do a test.
Aether: Oh okay. (Wonder why)
The teacher walks back in and continues teaching the class.
At lunch
Aether's POV:
I walk to the VIP lunch room but someone pushs me into a wall. I turn around and I see a girl.
Girl: Stay away from Diluc!
Aether: Eh? Why?
Girl: Why? Why!?! Because I'll kill you if you don't!
?: Oi. I wouldn't mess with him if I were you.
Girl: Shut up you sky head.
?: My name is Dottore.
Girl: So what?
Dottore: I'll beat you if you don't.
Girl: ...
Dottore: So I say leave now.
The girl runs away and Dottore walks to me.
Dottore: Are you okay?
Aether: I'm okay. You didn't have to stop her.
Dottore: Don't worry about it. Childe would kill me if I didn't intervene.
Aether: Oh okay!
Dottore: See ya around.
Dottore walks away and I walk to the VIP lunch room. I walk to the others and sit down at the table with my food.
Aether: Sorry I'm late.
Kaeya: It's okay.
Diluc: Did something happen?
Aether: Just a girl. Don't worry. 😅
Diluc: If you say so.
Childe sits down at the table.
Aether: Childe?
Childe: Yea?
Aether: Who is Dottore?
Childe: How do you know that name?
Aether: I heard some students talking about him.
Childe: Figured. Well don't worry about him.
Aether: Okay then.
