No one’s POV:
Ash and Scara both leave and Aether is confused.
Xiao: Well that happened.
Aether looks at him confused and Xiao shakes his head.
Xiao: Don't worry about it.
Aether: If you say so.
They continue eating. Aether is still worried but he doesn't ask any more questions.
After school
The group overhears that something happened that included Ash and Scara. They wait for Ash in the dorm room so that they can ask what was going on.
When Ash returned to the dorm
Ash opens the door and notices that the others are there waiting.
Ash: What?
Childe: We heard that something happened to Scara and you.
Ash: Ah.
Aether: Did anyone get hurt?
Ash: No.
Zhongli: Then what happened?
Ash: A student got expelled.
Kaeya: Oh?
Diluc: Who got expelled?
Ash: Lance.
Aether pecks up when he hears his ex's name.
Childe: So we don't have to worry about him anymore?
Ash: Correct.
