Ruby and Sapphire Oneshots

Compulsive-Part 4

I can not believe I was talked into this. I looked over at Sapphire, and she looked so calm. Reaching into my dealer vest's  pocket, I reread the text she sent me.
I forgot to tell you you can download an app that allows you to bluetooth the remote to your phone and control it that way.

I messed around with it. From the looks of it,  it's the same site I was emailed earlier that day.I locked my phone.The last thing I need is for someone to see this. The guests all filed into the room. A birthday party. I handed out name tags for each of the guests, tagged so they can come into and out of the room as needed.

"Here's the refreshments for the hour," an employee said.

"Just set the tray over on the table, then we'll begin,"Sapphire instructed,"And any drinks outside of the beverages in the room must be ordered. The tablet on the refreshment table is connected to the bar."

The refreshments were just light snacks of fruit and veggies, some water bottles, chilled wine, and a pitcher of ice tea.

"Welcome to Random Roulette. I am you dealer for tonight," I vocalized, happy I rehearsed this with Sapphire. Hopefully, I sound confident to her." The game was modified by our lovely lady council member, who will also be playing. The rules are simple. Place you bets at the start of every round. You will be timed to make your bets, and when I say 'No more bets' all bets are final. You can bet on inside or outside and a combination of the two. You win based if the ball lands on the color or number and rewarded according to your odds. I understand that there were pre-purchased chip?"
A woman timidly raised her hand.
"Yes, ma'am?"
" Can you explain inside and outside? I'm just a plus one for the night. I've never really gambled before."
"Of course. Inside bets are directly on one or more numbers. For example you place 3 chips on 21, 3 on 22, and 5 on 18. That's what you're hoping it will land on. Outside bets are placed on certain propositions, like red or black. You can bet everything on it landing on black. You can even slip it if you wish by placing it between two different numbers. Does that make sense?"
The woman seemed confused at first, but answered," So I can place it on the '2nd 12' by the 16 and it's allowed?"
"Yes, that is called the 'Street Bet',"Sapphire explains. The woman nods.

"Now, each chip as a different value,"I continued,"Purple are worth $100, green $500, and yellow $1,000. You will be given ten of each to begin. And to explain the 'random' part. Normally the dealer will say when bets are done, in this game it will be this timer. It was programmed to change the amount of the time before bets are closed. Bets begin again after the puck is removed and the timer is reset. Sometimes it'll be five minutes, sometimes it'll be 15 seconds.Are there any other questions?"
No one spoke up. I hit random on the time, and it shows 3 minutes. "Then let us begin."

Through the first few rounds, Sapphire made notes as the game progressed

"Ma'am, why don't you do a corner bet,"Sapphire suggested," Raise you chances a bit."

"She'll bet on 13, 5, and 19," her date interjected.

"Is she not playing?"
They looked at each other, while I glanced over at the timer.

"You have 23 seconds left to place bets,"I informed them.

"23 seconds to make a decision,"Sapphire said,"What will you do?"

Her eye is glowing under the lights. All I can do is wait for a decision to be made. I walked over to the table and grabbed a water bottle for a guest. She still looked conflicted. The timer chimed.
"No more bets."

The wheel is still spinning, but shows signs of slowing. Sapphire placed a 3 yellows on the first column and 5 yellows on EVEN. Some guy named Marty placed 5 yellows on BLACK and asked for me to place his 4 remaining greens on 0. The ball lands on 16. Sapphire wins the pot on this round. I use the puck to remove all the chips and reward them to Sapphire and place the buck on 16.

I reset the timer, this time shows 1 minute. Sapphire stood up from her spot and walked over to where a guest named Kendall was sitting. I spin the wheel and drop the ball in.

"I think I'll bet on 0. What do you think?"

The guest she was talking looked confused." 0? What are the odd of it landing on 0 and what does it mean?"

"Well, the calculation itself is simple, but I won't bore you with it. It's pretty low, about 2.63% give or take. What about you? You only have 33 seconds to decide. "

I glanced and it's all of her yellow chips.

"She'll do second dozen with me," a man speaks up.
"Do you?"

The woman that was confused earlier looks Sapphire in her eyes and then back at the table. She picks up 2 of her yellows and 1 of her greens and places it on 3rd column.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!?"
"What's the matter,Marty? It's just a game. Kendall is fine."
"No it's not Isaac."

The timer chimes. "No more bets"

The wheel comes to a stop with the ball on 3.

"Congrats Kendall. You won." Sapphire whispered something else to her, but I couldn't tell what it was, but it caused Kendall to blush.This continued on until the clock chimed singling the end of their hour. 

"Now the dealer will total up our winnings and send a message to the front. You'll pick up a check on your way out at the end of your visit. Feel free to use your left over chips on other games."

I looked over it and Kendall is walking away with $23, 400 for her first game of the night. Sapphire was behind her at $23,300. Some members of the party asked about memberships to the casino and it hosting a charity event with Sapphire as I straighten up for the next group to come in. After the last one left, Sapphire shut the door and placed a "Cleaning" sign in front of the door. 

Walking over to the couch, she lifted the skirt of her dress to show her thighs glistening. 

"Ruby, if you would," she said. Placing one leg on the table, she hiked her skirt up a bit more, revealing a small, glowing device taped onto her leg. The device being connected to my phone and also on a random timer. I pull on it gently, removing the vibrating egg from her vagina. I can see her legs shaking, that she's dripping. 
I look up with a question in my eyes. She smiles and says,"That was a fun hour. I thought I would have came under by the 15 minute mark." 

I give her nervous smile...what did I just sign up for.
