She started to panic. She couldn't tell where she was, and Garcello was missing, and now it was storming. She put her hand on his hat and started running.. Somewhere. Anywhere.
Garcello was still no where, and she was getting herself more and more lost. Then she wondered what happened to Garcello.. This all seemed so stupid.
Lightning lit the sky, where she saw a figure on the ground.
What?
It looked a little too familiar.
She walked up to the barely visible.. Object? Person?
Garcello was on the ground, asleep.
How did he fall asleep here?
Annie soon realized he wasn't asleep. Not dead, but breathing too shallow for her comfort. She noticed there was a low hanging sign right above him from the store, his hat she was still wearing let her head move around it.
She picked up his torso, dragging back what she could to get him sat up. To her luck, whatever happened to make him run into the sign and loose Annie didn't do anything except knock him out. She wondered if she didn't hear him hit the sign from her own fear of the lightning.
The sky lit up, and thunder struck her ears. She, rather pathetically, crawled under Garcello's arm and kept herself close to his chest. He woke up no sooner than her action.
He grumbled something, pretty much nonsense, and realized the huddled figure of Annie curled up against him.
"Annie, what-"
He was cut off by the suffocating hug from Annie.
"I lost you! I was running around forever trying to find you!" she said, but she didn't sound upset at all, instead happy.
"Sorry I lost ya.."
"Garcy, don't apologize!" her soft happiness and hug turned into fear as thunder shook the ground, and lightning split the sky.
"Annie, you okay.?"
"I said I would never admit it but I'm scared of thunderstorms."
