"Like I expected, you're much comfier than my pillow, I might stay here a lot more often. Oh, and you look better in my clothes than I do." Mark, winking at Riley.
"Haha, that's funny. You wish you could. Yeah, it's oversized, it's comfy and it smells like you. What was up with you last night?"
"That's fine, you look good in it. I'd like to see you in it more often. I don't want to talk about it yet. It's still hurts after all these years."
"Are you sure, I'm here if you need it and you know I am."
"Yes Riley, I'll talk about it when I'm ready, I don't want you to view me like a dickhead. The last thing I want to do is show any type of emotion towards that yet." Mark sounding a tad angry.
"Alright Mark, I need to get ready anyway and drive down to lectures. I've got a few bits to get done though as well."
Both ready and out the door, they both are off to the lectures. Riley gets her usual hot chocolate on the way, but as per usual, she's always early. She always feels she could do with adding a few extra bits into her modules.
How she fits in English and Child and Youth Studies is beyond anyone. How she keeps up with it as well is hard work in itself.
It's late by the time she gets home and everyone is up and having tea together. Molly and Naomi did the tea; spaghetti bolognese. Riley's tea had been plated, and glad they'd thought about her.
"Here she is, the man, the myth, the legend. How're you feeling after last night? Spill the beans." Naomi is too exited and wants to hear all the gossip there is.
"Nothing happened, me and Mark went for food and came back. He stayed over, nothing happened though, not yet." Smiled Riley.
"Oooh, check you out! You both are so good together. Are you not seeing that?" Morris sounding excited.
"No, I never thought about it. He's attractive, funny and honest; but I never thought anything like this would happen. I feel like a different person. I never would've done this before, ever." Riley confessed.
Was she finally realising she had feelings more than just friends.
So, anyway. Mark let out his feelings, I should be doing the same, but how will I do that without looking weird? Where is the best place to even tell him?
