THE COMING OUT PARTY

I need to have a good chat with Riley tonight and how I'm feeling- or how we're both feeling- about her and each other; to see where this friendship or relationship is going. It's like we're together but without the label and I'd want to ask her out, to be my girlfriend.
"We all need to hide, I've heard that Logan's outside!" Screaming one of his school mates from the window.
I'll have to have a chat with Riley after he comes through. Logan is such a great lad and I'm glad he's comfortable in himself. He's such a good friend; a great friend actually, for all of the gang, not just Riley.
How do I ask her to be my girlfriend? What if she said no? Will I make a good boyfriend; especially for someone like Riley?
"I've seen the way Ricci looks at you, Riley! I've never seen him with anyone like this. He's head over heels for you. Have you never noticed it?" His friend, Ashley practically yelling at me with how loud the music is.
"I've never really noticed. I never thought he'd see me like anything more than friends. We're very similar but can be very different in ways; which is probably why we get on so well." He's got me thinking about a load of different things. How we are together? What we're like when we're apart? How has everyone noticed that we suited so well, but we didn't?
"Get another drink down you Riley. You're usually drunk by now haha!" Screamed Molly.
"I'll have what whatever you're having. I'm so glad we've got you out your comfort zone from when we started uni to now. You're great!" Me screaming back, slightly tipsy.
"A double Archers and Lemonade coming right up. A single doesn't sit right in this dorm. Thank you, Riley; that means so much to me. All the gang have helped with that, you've all made me feel welcomed. I guess this is how I've always been but too scared to show it."
"It's great to see you like this Molly, im glad we've brought this side out of you." Saying as I'm starting to feel a tad bit tipsy. I don't want to get too drunk yet; I know that Mark wants to chat to me at some point. Hopefully I can find him somewhere. He's somewhere with his mates.
"I want to ask Riley to be my girlfriend, but I need to get her while she's not drunk; so I'll see you around boys." Mark just mentioned.
"Yeah, sound. Hope it all goes well Mark." Mentioning Riley's brother, Ben. Ben and George have finally met Mark, they think highly of him. "Fingers crossed; I need it. It'll go well. Hope she isn't steaming before I see her." Ricci mentioned.
"Yeah, she's somewhere with Ben, I'm rooting for you"
"Thank you. I'll see you around kid." Beaming Ricci.
I hope I find Riley before she's drunk, 'cause I don't want her to think it's some sort of joke; because I do want her to be my girlfriend, my person, my sidekick.
How do I ask her without feeling foolish or silly. She's a great person, a great woman, someone that is there for everyone. I hope I'm that for her.
"Hi, Riley. Fancy seeing you here my love. You alright?" Smirking Mark. "I can't believe how good you look. You look fit!" Riley is wearing a red, skin tight dress, showing a bit of cleavage and her dress falls just above her knees, her hair curly and open toe high heels.
"Thank you, you look hot yourself, that off white shirt goes with your skin colour, looks hot with how big you are as well, I like that a lot. But all sound thank you, are you?"
"Yeah, sound. Can we have a chat at some point before you get drunk? Or do you want to do it tomorrow, over dinner?"
"We can do it soon. It looks like it's bothering you. Logan is doing a speech soon so I want to see that. Can it wait till I've seen that my love?" Asking Riley, seeming a tad concerned.
"Yeah, that's sound my love. I'll wait over her with you till he's done it. That okay?"
Thankfully Riley doesn't mind that I stay with her while Logan does his speech. We haven't seen each other for a few days due to uni work, so to be around each other feels nice.
"TURN THE MUSIC DOWN, LOGAN DOING HIS SPEECH!" Screamed his older sister, Eli.
His sister is such a laugh, I see Logan in her; with how they act and how they are together. It makes me think of how Ben, George and myself are together.
"Get on the table Logan!"
"So, I'll start off by saying thank you to Dorm troopers for organising this coming out party, I had no idea that this was happening, and right under my nose too! I was so nervous to come out to my family and friends but you've accepted me and it's helped me to accept myself and I thank everyone for that. I don't have much else to say, but thank you for turning up and let's get druuunk!"
The party is getting back in to the swing of things and everyone is happy.
"Shall we have this chat then, Ricco? Hope you're alright? Something looks like it's bothering you? Get in to my room, we'll have a chat.". Riley seems concerned.
"Yeah, I'm ready to chat. I'm glad you aren't drunk yet for this. I don't want you to think this is some sort of joke either, my love." Mark saying nervously.
I don't know how Riley knows everyone but she says hi and chats to everyone. We finally get to her room to chat after what seemed forever.
"So, I've been thinking about how to say this and how to ask you this for ages, because I've been a bit nervous about it... I'm in love with you. And, and, um. God I'm so nervous I'm sorry."
"It's fine, take your time Mark, it's fine, honestly."
"Don't think think this is some sort of joke, because it isn't; I'm being deadly serious.  I, um, I fancy you, and I'm, I'm falling for you. Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Are you sure you aren't drunk my love?" Riley asked laughing.
"No, I'm being serious, I fancy you. The only thing I want is you, my love."
"Haha, yeah. I'll be your girlfriend, Ricci."
"AAAYYYYY, come her and giz hug then; my love. You smell nice. What you gone on Ry?"
"I've got the YSL perfume you'd got me a while ago, I love it. I've found my signature smell and it's that. It's my favourite. Thank you." Smiling Riley.
"It's fine, let's go out and get drunk anyway. Never seen you this sober so late haha. It feels weird." Mark mentioned.
And the night went on.
