"Are you sure these are the right coordinates, Anakin?" Obi-wan glances at him, then at the damp terrain ahead of them.

"This is what the tip-off said," jumping over fallen tree trunks, vines seem to pose a bigger threat as it starts to slither along the jungle floor. "Master, do you see this?" Anakin whispers under his breath, "should we get to-?"

"Higher ground? Wonderful idea," taking a leap after mounting one branch, both Jedi's were close to taking a hold of thick branches, only for the vines grasp at their legs, tearing them down and back to the ground.

Lightsaber's were drawn, trying to slice at the foliage but it seemed to grow back twice as fast. Like a hydra, each vine formed back two ends, tightening their hold on both men to swing them from side to side.

"Anakin!" Obi-Wan yells, using the force to take a dead tree-trunk and replace him for the time being. Blue blades slice through emerald green as the trunk was nearly crushed under the immense grip of the wild jungle fauna.

"Master! A little help?!" Anakin grabs one branch, clinging on for dear life while Obi-Wan avoids the remaining vines.

"Oh, but I think it likes you!" He yells back, trying to locate the source of the beast. "I don't suppose you spot anything from up there??"

"It's a little- difficult to-!" Anakin felt a sudden churn in his stomach, "I think I'm going to be s-" he lurches, hands flying to his mouth as his lightsaber drops to the ground.

Within this moment, Obi-Wan sees a bundle of green spurting out of a large flower. Crimson with spots of white, a neon-like sludge filled what seemed to be its mouth.

That could only mean one thing: they were food.

"I've told you once too many times not to lose this," Obi-wan glides across the soil, jumping up above the flower and driving his sword down into the supposed belly of the beast.

Anakin hit the ground with a thud, groaning with some dirt stuffed into his mouth. This was the final straw as vomit spews out his mouth, Obi-Wan grimacing at the sight of his breakfast.

"You're fine," he pats his back, handing him the lightsaber before walking away. "Hopefully I will be too," the stench laces the humid air for a moment before he heaves himself onto a thick branch. Obi-Wan scours the thick land once more, "finally, some open space,"

"Told you this was the right way," Anakin scraped himself off the ground and follows Obi-Wan who leaps back down. "When we-" but he was cut short at the sight of Obi-Wan being strung and hoisted up in the air by a trap. He couldn't help but laugh, commenting "see anything from up there?"

"Very funny... now, get me down," he crosses his arms, bouncing a little.

Anakin holds up Obi-Wan's lightsaber, "what was that about losing this?" taking one step forward and he too was bound by carefully placed mechanisms, both sabers falling to the ground. "Well... this is a turn of events,"

"Indeed," both eventually spun and met face to face. "What now? Have a plan B?"

"I'm working on it," Anakin wriggles around in the hold, eventually spotting the line holding them both up and a figure emerging from behind a tree. "Uh... Master?"

"What? Hold on- I need to... There we go!" It was a struggle for him to turn the right way. "Hello there, we mean only peace," he holds his hands up... or rather down in surrender. "So, if you'd so kindly let us down from here,"

The figure's hood pulled further over their face, hand reaching into a holster to take out a blaster. A single shot to the base of the mechanism sent them both falling to the ground below, hitting it with a wrenching thud.

"Could've been a worser fate," Obi-Wan reaches for his saber but a boot is placed on the weapon to stop him. "Sorry, that's mine," he looks up and meets e/c eyes.

"I'm aware," you toss Anakin's saber in the air and catch it again with a curious look on your face. "Is this yours?"

"Yes," Anakin groans, resting on his elbows before getting to his feet, "now, this is the part where you hand that over. That is a weapon only for Jedi's,"

Grinning at his words, you keep it to yourself for a second, "what business do Jedi have on Klatar? Especially this region?"

"We have buisness with the duchess, we are to escort her. Republic business," the younger Jedi's hostility made you chuckle.

Soon that chuckle turned into an almost full blown laughter. While Anakin grumbles in dismay, Obi-Wan almost froze at the sound, a sense of nostaligia. "The duchess? Oh you Jedi's," you take out your own compass, "those little devices of yours won't help you out here,"

"And why is that?" Anakin holds a hand out which Obi-Wan declines while getting to his feet.

"Klatar messes with republic devices. In fact anything not from Klatar messes up in Klatar," walking back the way they came, you glance over your shoulder, "you coming?" their looks of confusion made your eyes roll, "did you want me to guide you the right way or not?"
