"Liz! Liz please!!" Were the cries I heard.

"Patty!? Patty where are you!?" I frantically ran down the streets of Death City looking for my sister when I heard more shouts once again.

"Ack! Liz!"

I turned around swiftly, "Soul?!"

"Liz! Liz help me!"

"Soul! Soul where are you!?" I could feel tears running down my eyes as I began to run looking for both my sister and Soul.

"Liz!!"

"Soul I'm coming!" I ran through the streets in search of my friends and family. They were nowhere to be seen. I had searched everywhere and nothing came up.

I decided to look in the DWMA in hope of finding at least a human soul. I went everywhere including the labyrinth underground yet no one was anywhere. I went back upstairs to the Death Room, Lord Death was nowhere in sight. I searched the classrooms, the restrooms, the balcony, hoping this was all a sick joke.

"Patty! Soul! Kid! Tsubaki! Black*Star! Maka!" My words echoed over Death City as I stood on top of the DWMA. "Ragnarok!" I caught my breath, "Crona!?"

Nothing. It was useless, my own words bounced back and no one had replied. 'How could they have gone missing like that? How could one whole city simply vanish?' Words raced through my head as I went back out the the stairs.

I had forgotten how tiring these were, after all Kid always used his skateboard to bring us to the top. Even so we were always late. He always took hours fixing his hair until I scolded him.

Various memories came flushing in all of a sudden and all I could think was of were my friends. I could hear Patty's giggles in my head and Black*Star's obnoxious laugh echoing in my mind.

'Where are you guys!?' I could feel my heart drop heavily as my breath was running out. I couldn't take it anymore, I had to walk from here on. My legs were heavy and I was unable to continue. I held myself as I walked down the lovely streets.

After a while I caught my breath and was able run once more. 'Mind over matter Liz... You'll make it...' I found myself running once more until I hit a wall and took a step back. 'What the...' I turned around to see another wall blocking me, there was no way out.

"Elizabeth! Elizabeth where are you!?"

"Kid!?"

"Elizabeth!!"

"Kid I'm here!" I could feel my tears streaming hot pouring down my cheeks as the droplets trickled on the ground. "I'm here..." I cried helplessly as I leaned down the wall.

I looked up to see the skies turning dark as the clouds began to form while raindrops fell. I looked around only to find myself barricaded by walls. I had given up, there was no way out.

"It'll flood..." I realized as the rain began to pour. I stood up holding myself and began to count... One minute... Two minutes... Three... An hour had gone by and the rain still poured. At that moment I felt the rain up to my waist.

"It's no use..." I pathetically said as I saw the water fall heavier ... And heavier... Two hours had gone by.

I felt the water over my head by now and I wasn't able to touch the ground, I couldn't go anywhere. 'Wait!' I looked up to see the sky once again and realized I was able to climb out of the roof, 'I'll just let the water carry me!'

I had made sure to stay afloat the whole time until I reached the top. As I drew nearer every second I raised my hand to reach out to the roof and CLANK! My hand hit a barrier. 'No way...' I was imprisoned, completely blocked.

"No! This doesn't make sense! How is the rain still falli-" The water flushed in and drowned my words. I went to the very top just to get a small breath of air. 'I'm caged in... Yet the rain is still falling...'

I looked upwards and noticed the building had been flooded to the top. I could feel my lungs burning as I lost what little of air I had left. Time had seemed to slow down, one second... Two seconds... Three seconds... I could feel my lungs burning as I gave in and tried to breathe only to be greeted by water.

"Liz!!" The voices, they came back. I could feel my hands over my neck holding onto dear life as my eyes were closing. "Liz!" There they were again, I smiled as I gave up and ceased to breath. My time had come, was this it? Was this all I lived for? As thoughts ran through my head I saw nothing but darkness.

I sensed no one, I was all alone, no one to be found. I laid there motionless, nothing more, nothing less. 'I'm sorry...' I had died and no one knew.
