"Liz!"

"Patty!"

"Liz! You're okay!" Patty's giggles were heard from every corner of the room as she barged in the door. She didn't care about being scolded or not, she ran past everyone and jumped on the bed embracing me into her arms.

"Patty!" Kid called after her once he walked in. "Don't do that to your sister! She's in no condition to be taking such hits." He sighed and rubbed his forehead.

"It's okay Kid," I smiled over at him as i hugged my sister back, "I'm fine."

He looked up from his palm and raised an eyebrow, "Oh really? You're in a hospital bed Elizabeth. In what world is that fine?"

I giggled at his comeback, "In my world obviously."

"Then get your heads out of the cloud and get back to Earth." He chuckled as he walked closer ans sat on the nearest chair.

"Glad you're back sis! We all missed you!" Patty beamed as she held me tighter.

"Kya! Patty! I. Can't. Breathe. Patty!" My words being stopped by every gasp of air I managed to grab.

"Oh! Sorry!" She grinned and pulled back then stood up. Kid shot a glare at her as she smiled back innocently. I chuckled at both and looked around for a while. I only noticed both Kid and Patty, no one else.

"Hey... Um... Where's Soul?" I asked curiously.

"Wh-" Kid began.

"Liz, he's on that mission with Maka remember?" Patty interrupted.

"Ohh..." I nodded my head a bit confused, "Right..." I smiled slightly and held my hands together out in front of me. I glanced over at Kid after a while and he seemed to be wandering off. 'Oh kid... You've always been absent minded...' He looked up and made eye contact with me for a brief moment, I felt my cheeks burning before I turned away quickly.

"Oh by the way Liz, we're taking you home today. The doctor said it was okay for you to return. But you must be calm and relaxed. In other words, do nothing." Kid said as he stood up.

"Eh!? Nothing?..!? B-but!"

"Now, now Liz, you can't put strain on yourself after what happened to you."

"But... What did happened..." I muttered under my breath.

"Hmm? What was that?"

"Tch!! Nothing!"

"Liz, you're acting very weird, are you sure the anesthesia wore off?"

"Wow Kid... That's just rude..." I pouted and turned away. He simply chuckled and brushed his hair aside. "Well whatever, Patty, can you bring me spare clothes from home?"

Patty nodded and rushed to the door without hesitation. "Patty!" Kid called out. "Patty get back here! We aren't leaving ye-... There she goes." His words trailed away after Patty had slid down the hallways and disappeared.

I chuckled and looked out the window, "Looks like she'll never listen to you."

"Yes, she is stubborn, like someone else I know." He shook his head and glanced over.

"Yeah, yeah." I stook my tongue out at him then smiled and sighed. "I'll be home soon, please go with Patty and make sure nothing happens along the way."

Kid nodded and began to head to the door, "We'll be back later Liz, go ahead and rest a bit if you wish, we'll take a while."

I smiled and reclined against the bed and waved at him in a playful manner. "Now go peasant, and bring me my clothes."

His smiled faded into a small poker face, "... Really..." I giggled and shooed him away with my hand. "You're so... Yeesh. Get some sleep, i don't think the dose has worn off." He chuckled and walked out of the room closing the door after him.

"Ha..." I smiled slightly then sighed and stared out of the window. "... Have I changed?" The sun grinned as always as if it were trying to say something. "... Nah."
