Chapter 8 - A New Form

Crona shivered, "Y-Yeah."

Everyone looked at him in disbelief. "B-But Ragnorak is in here." Patty patted his back. Crona shook his head as he shakily pointed towards the crowd. A dark figure appeared as the audience began to walk out.

"No way..."

A tall slim guy, around his eighteens or nineteens appeared with a smirk. "Hey look, it's the dweebs."

My jaws dropped at his sight. "R-Ragnorak?! B-But y-you're..."

"I'm what? Human?" He laughed. His rugged black hair moving to the side as he did so. Everyone looked at Crona and back at the guy claiming to be Ragnorak.

"But how?!" Maka exclaimed.

I couldn't believe it. How can he turn human? Unless...

"Stein..." Crona's words finished my thought.

"Of course it would be him." Soul frowned.

"Is that even possible?!" Patty asked amused.

"W-Well it h-has been nearly two years of research..." Crona held one of his arms.

I can tell he had been nervous with everyone looking at him.

'I'll admit it though... Ragnorak does look good.' I shook my head at my thoughts.

"Liz are you ok?" Maka asked.

"Yeah, can we just leave?" Everyone nodded in agreement and we all headed to the lobby. The second group of spectators had been lining up for their tickets already. The crowd was full of life and energy, I wouldn't blame them. It was a world premier, but the movie itself is not that amusing. In fact, it is the complete opposite! It made some people cry while others, and I quote Crona, hid under their chairs.

Suddenly, out of nowhere I felt a cold shiver run through my spine when I felt a a hand reached for my hips.

I turned around with a sudden realization, "What do you want?"

Ragnorak smirked, "That was an accident. There are a lot of people here and one bumped into me, ok?"

I gave a disgusted look as I shook my my head and waved my hand dismissively towards him.

"Liz, we should be heading home." Kid informed me as I walked away from the Demon Sword.

"Oh what? Yeah, home sounds nice..."

"Something wrong?"

"No, it's all good." I managed too smile, 'No of course not! I was dragged into a movie I did not want to watch! How would I be alright?' My smile was still present and had apparently fooled everyone because they shrugged.

Patty came near me and hugged me. "Can we go home now?" Kid nodded as he walked towards the door. I could see everyone else following behind, including Crona.

It was now late outside, the lights of Death City shone the streets brightly. Close to midnight, yet the City was completly visible. The Moon had its creepy smile as always, and everything seemed quiet.

"Hey Soul, I just got back here, and I don't have a place of my own." Maka stuttered while she blushed.

"Yes, Maka you can stay over with me," he stopped and looked at me, "If it's ok with you, that is."

I nodded and smiled, "If I live with Kid and you trust me, then I'll trust you."

Soul nodded as he walked towards me, "Yeah ok, well then we'll be going now." He smiled as he cupped my chin and gave me a soft kiss.

"Woah, woah, woah! Liz is dating Soul?! Since when?!" Ragnorak pushed through Crona who had his eyes wide open as well.

"It's been two months now dude." Soul chuckled.

"Oh, so not too long. Oh ok." Ragnorak snickered.

I rolled my eyes at Ragnarok and pulled away from Soul's kiss. Soul smiled and motioned Maka to his side. She nodded and followed him with her hands behind her back. As i watched them leave I walked towards Kid and my sister. "Shall we?"

They both nodded.

"Y-Yeah it is getting late... Ragnorak and I should be going too." Crona said sheepishly.

Ragnorak groaned, "I don't want to go back. That hotel is boring."

"Oh you're staying at a hotel?" I asked them curiously.

"S-Sadly we haven't found a place of our own yet." Crona stuttered.

I was about to speak when Kid interrupted. I had a bad feeling of what he was going to say next.

"Manor has many rooms, you can sleep with us until you find a small place of your own." He said proudly.

"What?!" I asked terrified.

"Yes, Liz. They're our friends and they need a place to stay in."

"B-But..."

"That sounds great!" Ragnorak interrupted.

"S-Sure... That would be nice." Crona followed.

Kid nodded, "Then it's settled. You two live with us starting tonight."

My smile shattered, 'I knew it... It looks like I won't be getting any sleep...' Ragnorak looked my way and smiled innocently. Patty giggled and clapped her hands. 'She's ok with this?!' I sighed and finally admitted defeat. "Ok fine..."

"Awesome! Let's go home now!" Patty smiled as she pulled me away.

"Hey wait for us!" Kid called out as he and the rest tried to catch up to us.

Great... that was all I needed... Living with the demon sword and his Meister. That makes, three guys, and two girls. The thought killed me, I had no hope left. Kid's mind was made up and me? I was doomed.
