Today, I'm learning the choreography for my first solo dance performance on Sixteen, and I'm unbelievably excited. But as I'm taught the choreography, I start to feel uncomfortable, and I'm not the only one.
Jihyo can't take it any longer.
"Surely this is too mature for her," She blurts to the teacher.
"Excuse me?" The choreographer snaps.
"She's thirteen, surely this is inappropriate?"
"She needs to get used to it – it fits her image."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well, with a figure and visuals like that, what else can we do? We can't exactly give her a cute concept."I look at my teacher in surprise.
"And Jihyi, if you want to keep your place on Sixteen, I suggest you keep your mouth shut."
Jihyo hesitates, before sitting back down, and I continue to learn the choreography.

It's time to record the performance, and even though I know the choreography is inappropriate, I'm just going to go for it, because I'm not going to get anything out of doing it half-heartedly.
I take a deep breath and get into position.
