Season 1, Episode 3: The book

Later that night at pop's diner Betty and Cheryl are sitting at the counter drinking milkshakes Tabitha walks up to them

'Betty did you get to see the book that Veronica said that her father has about everybody in Riverdale?' Tabitha asks

'Um no, not yet, but I'm going to her apartment tonight to see it' Betty says

'There's a book about us?' Cheryl asks, Betty nods while drink her milkshake

'Yeah she said that last night when she came in here to get food her mom' Betty says

'Uh, cousin see what it says about me and Toni, I have to do something, bye ladies' Cheryl says, she gets up and leaves

'Bye' they both says

'I'm going to head over there now, can I have to go cup and a black forest milkshake for Veronica' Betty says

'Come right up' Tabitha says, she makes the shake and Betty pays for it

'Thanks Tabitha' Betty says

'You're welcome Betty' Tabitha says, Betty smiles and leaves

Betty is walking towards Veronica's apartment building and she feels like someone is following her and she turns around and sees a figure walking towards her dress all in black she turns around and starts walking faster she gets to the apartment building and Veronica is standing outside waiting for her Veronica looks up and sees Betty walking towards her

'Hey' Veronica says, she smiles

'Hey' Betty says, she smiles

'You didn't have to get me a milkshake' Veronica says

'I know but since you're showing me the book I thought that I could return the favor' Betty says, she hands her the milkshake, Veronica smiles

'Well thank you' Veronica says

'You're welcome' Betty says

'You ok you look like you saw a ghost?' Veronica asks

'Yeah, it's just um when walking towards here I was being followed by someone dress all in black' Betty says

'That's not creepy at all, come on let's go to my apartment, we have security guards standing outside our doors' Veronica says

'That makes me feel a little bit better' Betty says

They head up to Veronica's apartment and they walk in

'Now I know this is unsafe but I have to leave the door unlock so that way the security guards can get in, in case something happens in here' Veronica says

'Gotcha you' Betty says

'The book is over here' Veronica says, they walk up to couch and sits down

'Oh wow' Betty says

'Yeah I know, we're going to keep the original and make copies of the book and display it at the family business so that way everyone can see it' Veronica says

'That's a good idea' Betty says

'Yeah we thought it was only fair to the people of Riverdale' Veronica says, Betty looks through the book and finally gets to hers

'Did you guys read any of these?' Betty asks

'Some of them' Veronica says

'Of course your father would want to take away Polly's twins, Polly is my sister and she just had twins last year and around that time this guy named Chic came around saying he was my half-brother, Polly's and Judhead's but turned out he was a impostor and was there to kill us' Betty asks

'And I thought my life was messed up' Veronica says, Betty chuckles

'Judhead and Cheryl wants to know right away about what it says about them and their family other then that nobody else asked' Betty says

'That's weird you would think that if someone was writing about you, you would know want to know what they are writing about' Veronica says

'I guess people just don't care because once they graduated they will leave Riverdale' Betty says

'Do you know If you're staying or going?' Veronica asks

'I'm going to be gone for a little bit then come back, I'm going to Washington D.C to become a FBI agent' Betty says

'Wow impressive' Veronica says, Betty chuckles

'Thank you, Judhead wants to be a writer and Archie Is going to the army' Betty says

'I can see that for the both of them' Veronica says

'As for everybody else I have no idea' Betty says

'Well as far as I know I'm staying right here and run the family business' Veronica says

'I think that we all can do it' Betty says, Veronica smiles and looks at her

'Yeah, me too, it will just take time' Veronica says

'Yeah' Betty says, then one of security guards walks in

'Excuse me Veronica but there was just a murder up the street and I think it would be best if Betty would spend the night here tonight' The security guard says, Veronica looks at Betty

'What were they wearing?' Betty asks

'As far as we know, a male dress all in black' The security guard says, Betty and Veronica looks at each other

'Would it be ok if I stay the night?' Betty asks

'Yeah, sure, I'll my mom know, thank you Tony, you're dismissed' Veronica says, he nods and leaves

Betty and Veronica told both of their mom's what's going on

Later that night Veronica is sitting on her side of the bed and Betty walks in

'Thanks again Veronica for letting me spend the night' Betty says

'It's no problem besides if you didn't stop here you would probably be the unfortunate one who got murdered' Veronica says

'Yaah, I feel sad for that person who got killed' Betty says, she sits down her side of the bed

'Yeah, me too, I can't believe someone would do that in Riverdale' Veronica says

 'It has changed a lot since you moved away unfortunately for the worst' Betty says

'Yeah, no kidding, let's try to get some sleep' Veronica says

'Yeah, goodnight Veronica' Betty says

'Goodnight Veronica' Betty says

Betty lays down and Veronica turns off the lights and lays down facing away from each other both fighting the urge to turn over and kiss the other one
