Season 1, Episode 6: Family secrets

There's a school event going on at the school the kids are in the lounge room except for Kevin he's taking some trash out when he gets to the back of the school he stops dead in his tracks backs up stands behind a tree and some brushes because he sees two people kissing once they stop kissing he looks at who it is and does a double take its Archie's mom Mary and Veronica's mom Hermione they go back to kissing Kevin gets his phone out and zooms all the way in and starts to record them for about ten seconds and then drops the trash bag runs back to the school, he runs down the hallway towards the lounge room and runs in out of breath everybody looks at him

'Kevin you ok?' Fangs asks

'Yeah, you look like you saw a ghost' Betty says, Kevin points to Archie

'I saw your mom' Kevin says, out of breath, then points to Veronica

'And your mom kissing behind the school' Kevin says, out breath

'What!?' Everybody says

'Are you sure about this?' Archie asks, he gets up and walks up to him, Kevin pulls out his phone

'I got a ten second video of them kissing' Kevin says

'Oh I got to see this' Veronica says, she stands beside Kevin, so does Archie

'Press play' Archie says

Kevin pushes play and they can clearly see its their own parents kissing

'Oh my God, he's right it is them' Veronica says

Kevin hands the phone to Betty and the rest if them watches the video

'I wonder how long this has been going on between them?' Cheryl asks

'Apparently long enough' Archie says, Veronica looks at Archie

'Wait Archie did you get the same note as I did this morning?' Veronica asks, Archie looks at her

'You got one too?' Archie asks

'Yeah I did' Veronica says, Betty looks at them

'What note?' Betty asks, they look at her

Veronica walks up to her bag and gets the note and hands it to her, Betty opens it

'All of the family secrets will come to light tonight, black hood' Betty reads out loud

'I need some air' Veronica says, she leaves

Outside Veronica is sitting on top of the picnic table where Mary and her mom was at earlier then Hermione walks up to her

'Mija, you ok?' Hermione asks, Veronica wipes her tears away

'Yeah I just found out that I was betrayed' Veronica says

'By Betty or the others?' Hermione asks

'No by you, I know about you and Archie's mom' Veronica says, she looks at her

'How could you possibly know that?' Hermione asks

'Kevin was taking out the trash and came across you guys kissing on this picnic table and had a ten second video of you guys' Veronica says

'Well if you give me a chance to explain what's going on then I will' Hermione says

'This should be rich' Veronica says, Hermione sits down beside her with some distance between them

'Back in high school me and Judhead's dad FP, also my brother, was apart of the serpents and Mary and Alice was in their own group, one day in the lunch room she was walking by with her friends and we locked eyes, ever since that day we were together secretly because back then bring a part of the LGBTQ+ community was taboo and us dating publicly were be the most difficult thing to do so me and Hiram pretend to date at school and publicly only and Mary and Fred were pretend to date at school and publicly other than that it would be me and Mary, after we graduated me ad Hiram pretend to get married and Mary and Fred too, but me and Mary did get married at 18 and been together ever since, then Hiram and Fred gave us their sperm to have you and Archie at the same time, due to our families beliefs me and Hiram had to raise you, Fred and Mary had to raise Archie, but me and Mary got full custody of you guys, me and Mary would see each other during the day but at night we had to be with you guys, then a couple of years ago they got a pretend divorce, then me and Hiram got a pretend divorce, ever since then me and Mary were happily married together we bought a house after our pretend divorces we would go there during the day but come back at night for you and Archie' Hermione says

'Ok wow a lot of information to take in and break down, so you and Jughead are actually brother and sister?' Veronica asks

'Yeah, so Jughead is yours and Archie's cousin, because you and Archie are brother and sister, I didn't know that FP was my brother until after high school' Hermione says

'After everything that you just said makes sense why you guys kept this from us after all these years, because you guys were afraid of what people would do or think especially your guys own families' Veronica says

'Exactly' Hermione says

'I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier' Veronica says

'It's fine mija, you had every right to be upset with us, we should have told you guys especially when society was being ok with the LGBTQ+ community like it is today, there's still some people against it but there's a lot more people that does support it' Hermione says, Veronica smiles

'Wait isn't Alice and FP dating, and they get married, would that make me and Betty related?' Veronica asks

'Probably somewhere down in the family but look at the royal family they been marrying each other for generations' Hermione says

'That is true' Veronica says

'Anymore questions?' Hermione asks

'So Hiram and Fred are our dad's separately but don't have anything to do with me and Archie?' Veronica asks

'Yes they are your guys dad but they was in your guys lives and still are until Hiram dies' Veronica says

'So Hiram actually did horrible things to everybody in riverdale but kept us out of it' Veronica says

'Yes and yes' Hermione says

'So you and Mary have been married for eighteen years?' Veronica asks

'Yeah eighteen wonderful years' Hermione says, Veronica gets down

'Well let's go get to my other mom and brother' Veronica says, Hermione smiles

'You're a wonderful daughter and don't ever change that' Hermione says, Veronica smiles

Hermione gets down and they hug, they walk back to the school together
