Season 1, Episode 2: First day

It's the next day Betty showed Veronica her locker, classes, lunch room, hang out place and now they are walking down a hallway Kevin and Toni are towards them

'Hey Betty' Kevin says

'Hey Kev, this is Veronica Lodge, Veronica this is Kevin and Toni' Betty says, Veronica smiles

'The Veronica Lodge?' Kevin says

'Unfortunately yes it is' Veronica says

'As my girlfriend would say do you mind spilling the tea about your father' Toni says, Veronica smiles

'Actually that would be my pleasure' Veronica says

'Wait you don't like your dad?' Kevin asks

'Nobody in my family does' Veronica says

'I think that we're going to be good friends' Toni says, Veronica smiles

'Well I hope so, don't worry I'm not going to be like my Father' Veronica says

'Veronica and her mom are going to take over the family business and not do shady activities and ruin people's lives' Betty says

'Me and the serpents are going to hold you to that promise' Toni says

'And I'm up for the challenge so bring it on' Veronica says, Kevin has been noticing that Betty has been staring at Veronica the whole time

'Hello cousin, Kevin, and girlfriend' Cheryl says, she and Archie walks up to them, Cheryl kisses Toni

'Cheryl and Archie, this Veronica Lodge she's going to be going here now' Betty says

'Don't worry she's not like her father or ruin people's lives' Kevin says

'She and her mom are taking over the family business' Toni says

'Hmmmm' Cheryl says

'What's wrong with your dad?' Archie asks

'Archie' Betty says

'It's fine, he has some medical issues and you won't see him for a very long time' Veronica says

'Wait your dad isn't at home?' Cheryl asks

'No, he's at a special hospital' Veronica says

'Oh well, come TT we other things to do' Cheryl says, she leaves

'It was nice meeting you Veronica' Toni says

'You too Toni' Veronica says, Toni leaves

'Betty I'll meet you in the newspaper room, Veronica welcome, sorry about Cheryl she's the HBIC' Kevin says

'It's fine, I understand she was here, and thank you for the warm welcome' Veronica says, Kevin smiles and walks away

'So Veronica if you need a tour I can give you, if you want one?' Archie asks, he smiles, Veronica gets uncomfortable

'Um thank you Archie but Betty already given me a tour but thanks for asking' Veronica says

'Yeah, sure no problem, I'll see you guys later' Archie says

'Bye' They both says, Archie nods then leaves

'You seem to get uncomfortable when he asked you to give you a tour of the school Archie isn't a bad guy' Betty says

'I know he seems like a bad guy, but I got the feeling that he would ask me out afterwards' Veronica says

'Is that such a bad thing if he did?' Betty asks

'Well it wouldn't be if I was straight, I'm gay' Veronica says

'Oh well I can see why you thought that and I'm bisexual and I just dated him' Betty says

'Why did you guys break up, if you don't mind me asking?' Veronica asks

'He wanted to find himself before senior year and he can't do that with being with me' Betty says

'Wow, I guess I dodge a bullet with him' Veronica says, Betty chuckles

'Yeah you did, actually I wanted to ask you something?' Betty asks, Veronica looks at her

'You're not going to ask me out are you?' Veronica asks, Betty chuckles

'No, actually it's about the book that you mentioned that your dad had a book last night at pop's diner' Betty says

'Oh yeah, what about it?' Veronica asks

'Would you mind if I take a look at it?' Betty asks

'No, not at all, you and everybody else in Riverdale has every right to look at the book, stop by tonight and you can see it' Veronica says, Betty smiles

'Awesome thank you Veronica' Betty says, Veronica smiles

'It's no problem' Veronica says, they already exchanges numbers

'I have to go and see what Kevin wants, Judhead should be around here somewhere' Betty says, then Judhead walks up to them

'I heard my name, what's up?' Judhead asks

'Kevin wants to talk to me in the newspaper room, do you mind keeping Veronica company until I get back' Betty says

'Yeah sure' Judhead says

'Ok, I'll be back as soon as I can' Betty says

'Take your time' Veronica says

'Ok' Betty says, she leaves

'Shall we' Judhead says, Veronica smiles

 'We shall' Veronica says, they leave

In the newspaper room Kevin is waiting for Betty, then she walks in

'What's up Kevin?' Betty asks, Kevin walks past her and shuts the door, then walks up to her

'Ok look me in the looks and tell me that you don't have a crush on Veronica?' Kevin asks

Betty sigh and turns around, she walks up to her desk then turns around she leans up against the desk and crosses her arms

'I kinda of asked her out' Betty says

'What do you mean?' Kevin asks, confused

'Well Archie asked her to be her tour guide and she rejected him because she was uncomfortable because she thought that he was going to ask her out but she told me that she's gay and I said I have something to ask you and she looked at me, and said you're not going to ask me out too are you?, so I'm guessing she's not into me like that' Betty says

'Or' Kevin says, he walks up to her

'She may not be ready to date yet' Kevin says

'Yeah, I guess you're right, actually I might know more because she invited me over to her house tonight Betty says

'See you're going in the right direction' Kevin says, he smiles and Betty smiles

'Come on let's see what everyone is up into the lounge' Kevin says

'Yeah I gotta get back to Veronica because I told I would' Betty says

'Yeah you're differently going into the right direction with her' Kevin says

'Shut up' Betty says, jokingly

They grab their stuff and heads to the lounge, They walk in the lounge Veronica looks at them

'Hey, everything good?' Veronica asks, Betty smiles

'Yeah it is' Betty says, Veronica smiles

'Good' Veronica says, Betty smiles

Betty looks at Kevin, he smiles and turns around to talk to Fangs and Veronica stares at Betty for a couple of more seconds then turns her attention to the group
