Dont Break Your Promises.

You know how they say friends split during freshmen year? Me and Dylan didn't. But do you know what happens after high school? After he asks you to prom and after you shared some of the best memories of your life with him? He gets an acting job and doesn't talk to you. Do you want to know the worst part? I recommended him to audition. I was the one who sent my own best friend away and look at what happens. I don't have him anymore. He is gone. He doesn't text and he doesn't call.

Yet there is an upside. Ever since I had a YouTube it kind if blew up. Not for me, but because I was Dylan's friend. I am actually very happy with this part of my life. I met so many new people, and I feel like I have a lot of people who really like me and look up to me, and make me feel somewhat important. I post videos every Monday and Friday, either singing or doing random skits.

This is the path I have chose, yet Dylan chose another. Ironic how I was the one who had a strong desire to become an actress, and Dylan had the YouTube channel, but he gets all of the acting fame. I'm not jealous, just confused.

Even though Dylan was a big part of my life, I try and look past it. If he doesn't make an effort to be my friend, why should I try to hold on to something that doesn't even exist anymore? Well, I wouldn't say it doesn't exist, I wish it didn't exist. I can't stand the fact that I had to sit in my room for days waiting for a call, and never got one. Sure he would text and call me at first, but after maybe a month when he promised to call, he didn't. When he promised we will be friends for ever, he broke it.
