It was a nice day. Eddie was walking down the street wearing a yellow sports jacket, a striped green undershirt, and orange shorts. Eddie's phone rang and saw that Buster was calling him.
"Good morning, Buster." Eddie greeted through the phone.
"Hey Eddie, how are ya?" Buster greeted back.
"Good. How's the show going?" Eddie asked.
"Aw, it's going great." Buster answered. "And, hey, that's a sharp jacket you've got on today."
"Oh, thanks." Eddie replied. He then realized what his friend just said. "What, how did...?"
Eddie looks to his left and screams as he sees his friend sitting on one of the sills on a brick wall. The two were at the same place, which was the entrance of Nana Noodleman's gate, which led to her mansion. Eddie was not liking where this was going.
"What are you doing here?!" Eddie asked with a shocked expression.
"Eddie, you can't come visit your Nana without bringing her some flowers." Buster said as he plucked some roses from the concrete flower pot and handed them to Eddie.
Buster then pulled a black wire, which triggered the doorbell. The koala ran between the gates to Nana's mansion.
"What? No! Buster, no! Don't go in there!" Eddie shouted, frantically running after Buster.
The penguin butler of the mansion opened the door for Buster and Eddie, who ran in.
"Yes, can I help you?"
Buster gave a quick scan around the foyer before throwing his arms open wide as he found what he was looking for. Eddie came in shortly after Buster and grinned nervously as what, or in this case, who Buster came in for.
"Ah, Nana!" Buster exclaimed.
Nana Noodleman was slowly stepping down a magnificent staircase holding a cup of tea and wearing expensive, regal clothes. Her response to this sudden visit was one that was far from pleased. The elderly balck sheep glared intensely at her guests with a scorned look in her eyes.
"Just look at you, dear!" Buster remarked from the bottom of the stairs. "Wow! You don't look a day over ninety!"
Eddie face-palmed at Buster's comment.
"Oh my gosh."
Buster grabbed the bouquet of roses out of Eddie's hands and walked towards the black sheep, trying to hand the roses to her. Nana was obviously appalled by Buster even coming near her.
"Buster Moon!" the koala spoke out loud to Nana, as if she were deaf. "We met at Eddie's graduation!"
Nana then turns her disgust towards a fearful Eddie.
"Oh, lucky me." she responds sarcastically. "A visit from my useless grandson and his ghastly little theater friend."
"Look at that, she remembers me!" Buster says to Eddie optimistically. "Okay Nana, how would you like to be the sponsor for a very prestigious prize?"
"Not for that singing contest I saw on the news."
"That's the one!"
Nana understood what was happening now to why this washed up koala was in her home.
"Oh, I see. You don't have the money , do you?"
Buster looked to the side nervously.
"Well, we don't quite have it all locked in just yet-"
Nana wasn't having it.
"Well, you'll not get a cent out of me!" Nana huffed, walking away.
"Nana, please, just listen to me for a sec-" Buster pleaded.
