Touya woke just as chilled in the morning as he had been when he fell asleep. He softly knocked on Keigo's door, glancing in on his sleeping form before heading downstairs to make them breakfast, and feed Smokey.
Keigo barely heard the knock, but did roll over and sit up in bed. He made his way downstairs a few minutes later, his eyes not even open completely, and obviously still exhausted.
Touya smiled when he heard the other descend. "I didn't expect you to follow, I was going to come back up and surprise you with breakfast in bed. Why don't you go back to sleep on the couch. I'll wake you up when we're on our way to school," he said, abandoning his prep and guiding Keigo to lay on the couch.
Keigo nodded a bit. "Mhm... thanks..." he murmured, half asleep as he laid back down on the couch, almost immediately passing out again.
Touya chuckled softly, tossing the blanket over him and pressed a kiss to his brow, before going back to making breakfast.
At seven, he considered waking the other before deciding on a more fun option. He went back and knelt beside the couch, softly carding a hand through golden hair. "Kei," he cooed softly, "do you trust me?"
Keigo cuddled up, and when he felt the hands in his hair he shifted and hummed. It took him a few minutes to register before he replied, his eyes still closed. "Hm... mhm," he mumbled tiredly in confirmation.
"Good boy," Touya whispered, pressing a kiss to his brow before gently lifting him into his arms, standing carefully, "Y'okay?" he asked softly.
"Mhm.... what's going on..." he mumbled softly as he leaned against the other as he stood, still not having opened his eyes.
"I'm taking you out to the car, go back to sleep," Touya whispered, starting to walk toward the door. "I'll try not to drop you."
"M'kay... don't drop me," he said, taking a breath, then resting his head on his shoulder again, eyes still closed.
Touya grabbed his keys as he went, carefully opening the door, making sure the other was pleasantly cocooned, and headed to the car. Awkwardly unlocking the door, he settled Keigo into his seat, resting his head back against the headrest, tilted away from the door before shutting him in.
After, he moved around to the other side, starting the car and turning down the fan so it would heat quietly before heading back inside to dress and collect his things.
Keigo settled in the seat, starting to drift off again as soon as the other left to go gather everything. He wore a light smile on his face as he drifted off, thinking about the small kiss, before he fell asleep. Keigo could sleep anywhere if he was tired.
Touya returned ten minutes later, setting everything in the back seat, before getting in his own seat and leaning over to buckle Keigo in, rubbing his cheek with a knuckle. "Get some more sleep, handsome, I'll wake you for your class," he told him softly before starting his morning commute.
Keigo stayed asleep, humming incoherently in response to the other talking to him. He shifted a bit in the seat but otherwise was peacefully resting all through the drive.
Once Touya found a parking spot for class, he wrote a note for the other, in case he woke up himself, set it in the ashtray in front of the radio, laid Keigo out across the front seat to sleep more comfortably, kissed him softly, grabbed his bag, and headed to class.
Keigo woke up about 45 minutes later, then looked around in extreme confusion as he registered where he was. He sat there for a minute, simply taking it all in before he vaguely recalled being lifted into the car this morning. He saw the note and sat up to read it.
