New Family-Friends

The eight decided to talk about what had happened over the course of a sleepover at the penthouse. They were just talking when they heard the door of Chioko's bedroom open and close. They turned their heads to see two other familiar faces enter the room, Yui and Keito. Chioko and Katsuro went to give their cousins a hug and they started making jokes;

"Sup Usami's." Katsuro said jokingly while not being able to hold in his laughter, and they just returned their comment laughing. They can never forget the story of how their younger cousins were born.

 It turns out that Eri (Akihiko's editor) and Haruhiko had developed feelings for each other, as Haruhiko slowly got over Misaki, and Eri decided to finally look into finding a partner for herself. They started spending time together, usually with Akihiko or Misaki with them though.

However, when they were celebrating Akihiko and Misaki being on the last month of pregnancy with their friends and family and everything, they had gotten black out drunk, and ended up doing *it* by accident, and in the process, Eri had accidentally gotten pregnant.

After realizing this, the pair decided to attempt an actual relationship, and it worked out very well, even having another child only two years after their first. They were very happy together and actually ended up getting engaged and married after their second child was born (I didn't bother writing about all this as they weren't focused characters in the story until now).

Their first child is a girl who they named Yui, and she is sixteen. She has Haruhiko's dark brown eyes, and Eri's light brown hair, along with Eri's persistent and optimistic personality. Their second child is a son named Keito who is fourteen. He had his mom's blueish grayish blueish eyes, and his dad's dark brown hair, and he is like Haruhiko a lot, always jumping to conclusions, it's usually either his way or the highway, and the only exceptions are friends and family. Of course he wasn't cold or distant with his family like Haruhiko was, and rather enjoys spending time with them.

After some conversation, they decided to talk to Akihiko and Misaki about family matters and such, and now the step-brothers are now on much better terms than probably ever before. Cause of that, their children are also on friendly terms. Of course Yui and Keito don't have the sharingan or any of the Uchiha clan's abilities, as they are not related to Natsuko and are step-grand-children to her, so they don't inherit anything from her, but they think it's amazing that their cousins have these abilities, and always jokingly say that their going to at some point take their eyes for themselves.

Akihiko, Misaki, Hiroki, Nowaki, Miyagi, Shinobu, Ryuuichiro, Kaoru, Haruhiko, and Eri, were all on a vacation to celebrate the finishing of Akihiko's 100th novel, and had asked Fuyuhiko and Natsuko to watch the children, to which they agreed. They ended up getting a knock at their door quite late, at around seven thirty at night, and when they opened the door, there stood the Ijuuin family. They asked to come inside, to which Katsuro allowed, as he was the one who answered the door, and they took a seat on the couch, as the teens just stared at them. A little while later, Kyo spoke up saying that he has something for the Usami twins to give to their parents. He then started saying that he wanted to apologize to their parents, but never really could even bear to talk to them, so when he heard that they were gone, he took the opportunity to ask the kids to give the message for them.

Haruka, being the innocent one, continuously says that they would forgive them, but everyone else in the room was a little uncertain about that, and thanked them for coming over. They thought of an idea and asked if they would like to be the ones looking after them until their parents came back. The parents were a little hesitant, but they nervously agreed, and Emiko and Daiki joined in the night time fun.

About a little while later, the teens heard the door to the penthouse open and close. There was nothing but silence for quite some time, but then people were loudly speaking, then that turned into screaming, then that all of a sudden ended up turning into soft conversing. They went down the stairs to see all their parents talking with each other, sometimes joking around, and other times, it was serious conversation. After a while, Daiki and Emiko were called by their parents, and they went downstairs, and it sounded like they were being introduced, and a little while later, the Ijuuin family thanked them and left.

After that, the others wanted to know what happened, and their parents, who had just arrived home, simply explained that after Ijuuin told them that he had gotten over Misaki and had a loving family of his own now, they agreed that it was worth a shot and at least attempt to get along, and it worked, but it was getting a little awkward, so they decided to leave.
