When the day came, Yoh and Shinobu went to pick up their niece and nephew. They introduced them to all their cousins and their friends, and they became a nice big friend group.
Meanwhile, Keiichi and Risako were on their way to Akihiko and Misaki's house. When they arrived and when Akihiko opened the door, he was quick to turn on his sharingan and ask what the hell he was doing here. They were both taken aback by this as they didn't know what happened to his eyes.
Misaki was able to save them by making him stand down. When Keiichi asked for a moment of their time, Misaki accepted, while Akihiko stood there, still angry, not wanting him anywhere near him or Misaki. Chioko and Katsuro weren't there, as they were picked up along with everyone else's children so that they could be introduced to Tsumori and Nyoko, so they didn't have to worry about scaring them if the situation got out of hand.
Misaki invited them inside so that they could talk, while Akihiko was still angry. After sitting down in the living room, Keiichi introduced his wife to them. They were taken back by this, but allowed him to continue. He explained how he met her, to telling them about his two children. Misaki thought that it was wonderful to see that he had moved on and was leading a happier life, Akihiko only said a few words, but looked indifferent pretty much most of the time. After plenty of discussion, they were definitely on better terms, not the best, but better, and that was good enough for both couples.
