Chapter: 14

(AN: I'M LAZY AND HAVE NO IDEA FOR ANYMORE FILLERS SO WHAT THE HECK LET'S JUST SKIP THE ENTIRE WEEK!)

Everyone spent the rest of the school days practicing cheerleading or basketball respectively. They all talked about their days and how boring their history teacher was and, just typically, school stuff.
Tho in conversations they would notice Everest was more focused on her phone than them, and so is Marshall. Apparently they got closer together after the idea of texting to communicate with each other.

"Hahahah....!" They turned towards Everest who was laughing.

" Why are you laughing so much?" Rocky asked. Everest quickly calmed down and said while still giggling, "Nothing nothing, Marshall just sent me a funny meme and I couldn't hold myself."

" Oh." They looked at Marshall. Marshall had a goofy smile looking at Everest. He loved hearing her laugh, especially whenever he's the reason for it. Sensing his friends' stares he raised a brow as if to say, 'What?...'
They didn't say anything and continued with their previous topic of discussion.
This kind of scenarios keeps happening from time to time whenever those two would be together. They're getting used to it by now.

Now is the day of the hangout. Ruble found this new restaurant that just opened a couple of blocks from their house. He, Rocky, Skye and Everest live near each other by the way.

Rocky and Ruble went ahead of them since both girls are still getting ready when they were about to leave. Ugh girls. Men takes 1 minute in the shower, and to them it takes at least an hour.

It was already dark at 6:15PM.

"You sure this is the place?" Skye asked  looking at the well lit sign, "Porter's Pizzas"

"Yep. This should be the place, I think." Everest replied. "Come on, let's check inside! Maybe they're already waiting!" She motioned. She entered and the chill of the well air conditioned place quickly made her slightly shiver. But she quickly got used to it and inhaled the cool atmosphere and exhaled, relaxed. She loved the cold.
Skye was following behind and also shivered when she entered. Not wanting to stand there any longer she looked around the tables. She said, "You see them?"

Everest helped her look around and spotted a group of teenage boys on one of the tables on the corner. She said, "I see them! They're over there come on!" She pulled Skye over to them.

"Hey guys sorry we're late." Everest said sitting down on one of the empty seats. Skye sat down beside her.
Everyone turned towards them.

"Meh, not like we're not used to it by now." Rocky shrugged.

"Ehehehe really sorry." Skye said. " So, have you guys ordered yet?"

"We would've, if Chase hadn't insisted on waiting for you."

"H-hey, it's not polite to order before the ladies do." Chase said in defense. All the boys rolled their eyes at him.

"Look at Mr. Gentleman ovew here! Would you like a flower on yow tux as well esteemed siw?" Zuma asked sarcastically with a hint of teasing. All of them laughed.

"Come on let's order, I'm hungry." Ruble said. They called over the waiter.
"Hello, My name's Alex and I'll be your waiter for tonight. What can I get you guys?" A boy about the same age of them said holding out a notepad and a pen.

"3 Pepperoni pizzas and some drinks. What do you guys want?" Rocky asked.
"I want strawberry milkshake." Skye said. "I'll have Chocolate shake and a liver sandwich." Everest said. "I'll take Iced coffee." Chase said. "I'll take pineapple juice." Zuma said. "I want Black forest smoothie." Ruble said. "What about you Marshall?" Chase asked. *"Just iced tea and some tuna sandwich."* Marshall replied to him. Chase told the waiter. "And I'll have some apple juice." Rocky said.
