𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐 - 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬

I'm standing at the counter scrolling through Pinterest looking for some new room designs as my dad stares at a piece of pizza in the display. I put my phone in my pocket and turn around facing the counter. Eventually he tells the guy behind the counter he wants the pizza. "That one" the guy scoffs and reaches into the pizza display and grabs the pizza bare handed.

I put a disgusted look on my face "Dónde está el Pepto-Bismol?" I hear a familiar voice say. I turn and see Miguel "Allì" the guy points to the back to where I'm sure the peptobismol was. I watch as he goes to the back of the store. I get snapped out of my trance by my dad speaking "Can you put that on a plate?" I turn and look at the pizza display and back to the guy.

Out of my peripheral I see Miguel walk up to the counter I notice him looking at me so I turn to him and send him a smile which he returns. Miguel then looks at my dad "My grandma's not feeling well." He holds up the bottle. My dad looks at him "Didn't ask." he looks back to the clerk "Come on, what's Spanish for "Just give me my damn slice." The guy looks at him and rolls his eyes. "Puto idiota, probablemente tenga una polla pequeña (Fucking idiot, he probably has a small dick)." the guy says laughing.

Miguel snickers and I narrow my eyes at the guy because of his statement. "What did he say?" my dad asks. "You don't wanna know." Miguel and I both say. "I know it's bad. Just tell me." I sigh "Uh he said you have a tiny uh..." Miguel says and I shake my head. "He said I have a tiny wang?" he asks us and we nod.

"Tell him he has a tiny wang." my dad says. "I speak English, asshole." the guy tells him. "Oh really" my dad throws the money on the counter and walks out the door. I look over at Miguel and smile lightly he returns the gesture and I go outside behind my dad.

Y/N walks outside and sees Johnny sitting on the curb eating his pizza, walks over to sit down beside him. As Y/N sits beside Johnny a lady speaks "Finish up, then beat it!" Johnny looks at Y/N then the lady "Excuse me?"

"This is my mart. You ain't hustling no coin at my mart." The woman says. "I'm not hustling. I'm not homeless! This is my daughter and that's my car." Johnny tells her and Y/N looks down "What the hell are you doing? Why you gotta blow my spot?" Johnny and Y/N look over and see Miguel getting pushed out of the store.

"Dude, I-" Miguel exclaims. "He thought we were in college, dumbass." Kyler says and Y/N rolls her eyes. "I didn't know you guys were trying to buy beer. Sorry." Kyler pushes Miguel into the grass. Johnny looks away and continues to eat his pizza while Y/N watches the scene. Kyler takes the peptobismol out of Miguel's bag "Oh shit, someone has frickin diarrhea"

"Hey, we should call him Rhea" Brucks taunts Miguel reaches for the bottle "Give it back, dude. It's for my grandma!"

"Oh it's for your grandma, I'm sorry, man." Kyler pours the pepto onto Miguel's head. "Hey you want it? You can take all that. Take that, bitch." Kyler says walking away. "Asshole." Miguel mumbles this makes Kyler turn around. "What'd you say Rhea?"

"I didn't say anything." Miguel says and he gets punched in the stomach. Seeing this happen
Y/N decides to step in and help Miguel "Hey, Kyler." He and his friends look over at her. "Oh look, it's Miss goody two shoes." Y/N scoffs "One, don't call me that and two leave Miguel alone." Y/N gestures to Miguel who was still on the ground. "Oh yeah, and what if I don't?"
Y/N doesn't say anything.

"That's what I thought." He turns and starts walking away. Miguel makes eye contact with Y/N this gives her courage to walk up to Kyler. As he walks away she pushes him and he falls to the ground. Kyler gets off the ground and dusts off his clothes and looks up at Y/N. "You're dead, just like your boyfriend." Kyler shoves her into Johnny's car.

This makes Johnny speak up "Hey! Watch the car man." Johnny says. "Who's this dude?" Kyler questions. "Just leave my daughter and the dork alone." Johnny states "What?" Kyler says and Y/N crawls over to help Miguel up.

The two of them stand off to the side and watch what what was happening. "Are you okay?" they both ask at the same time. "Yeah. I'm okay." Y/N says. "Me too. Well except for the pepto in my ears and hair." Miguel touches his hair and Y/N stifles a laugh this makes Miguel smile. "You see this guy? Eating his dinner at the Mini mart like a bum." One of Kylers friends say. "Wait I think I know this guy. He's the jerk-off that cleaned my dad's septic tank." Kyler says.

"Oh that explains why he smells like shit." Brucks laughs. "Trust me, you are pissing off the wrong guy on the wrong day, all right." Johnny says. "Oh really?" Kyler says. "Really." Johnny answers. "Get the hell out of here loser." Kyler pushes Johnny and he stumbles. Y/N winces because she knew it was a big mistake for Kyler to do that.

Johnny looks back at her and Miguel then kicks Kyler in the face. Then all of Kylers friends start attacking Johnny at once. Y/N watches as her dad fights Kyler and his friends all at once. As Johnny continues to fight police sirens are heard. Johnny grabs Kyler by his shirt "What's wrong, having trouble breathing" Johnny tells Kyler.

The police approaches Johnny "Hey, get off the kid!" one of the cops pepper sprays Johnny and puts him in the police car. "Hey, it's not his fault!" Miguel tries to tell the cops. Y/N sighs "Of course something like this happens." Miguel looks over at her sympathetically "Um, I hope this doesn't come off as weird, but you can stay with me if you want."

Y/N faces Miguel "Are you sure?" Miguel nods "Yeah, I'm sure my mom wouldn't mind." Y/N gives him a genuine smile "Okay, sure why not, plus I think I left my house keys on my dresser." she chuckles as the two start walking back to the Reseda Apartments.
