Melanie's P.O.V.

I walked into the shop with my Carmel Frappe from Starbucks in my hand and hugged Matthew, Ray,and Marcus as I made my way to the back.

I walked in and sat my bag down in my chair and walked more into the back into Chresantos && I Office. I opened the door lightly and walked in.

When I walked in his eyes never left off of me. They were watching me the whole time , even when I say down in the chair.

He made me feel awkward and scared. He just stared at me with a certain look in his eye. He didn't say a word either. I sighed and ran my hand over the top of my hair and fixing my bun a little.

" Chresanto I'm sorry " I said breaking this awkward ass silence. He still just stared at me.

" I know I never should have questioned your loyalty and my trust for you. I let my insecurities get the best of me.He just Continued to stare at me. He sighed deeply and went back to writing in a piece of paper.I just got up prepared to walk out the office because obviously , I wasn't getting any words out of him.

" Go home " He said just as I turned the doorknob.

" Hmm " I said turning around looking at him.

" Go home , I don't want to see your face for the rest of the day " He said not looking up from his work.

I held the tears that were threatening to fall and walked out.

" Hey mommy " CJ said getting in the car and buckling himself up.

" Hey baby " I said smiling weakly and driving off to go get Cebastian.

" We take a selfie ? " He asked as I stopped at a red light.I pulled my phone out and held up duces and so did CJ and I snapped the picture.

I sped into the driveway and slammed in my breaks and turned the car off and rushed out. I was running hell of late and Mi'Ohnie and Melodie were sitting outside on the porch.

As I ran up the walk way trying to open the door I heard another pair of tires screech and a door slam and Chresanto was storming up the walk way looking mad as hell.

I sighed and looked at Mi'Ohnie because she's the only one who could've called him with her phone. I rubbed my forehead as he stormed past me and opened the door.

We all followed behind him quietly all going i to our rooms. I went downstairs to my study and it wasn't long before I heard the door slam and Chresantos heavy ass feet behind me.

" Woman your really trying my patience " He chuckled angrily.

" It was an accident , I had to go get Chresanie and Cebastian , I over slept. " I said sighing.

" What if something was to happen to my babies Melanie ! you left them outside for 2hours. Anything could have happened" He said raising his voice

" But did it " I asked snapping at him

He looked at me and his hand connected with my face so fast my head turned and I stumbled a bit.

" Don't fucking take my kids life as a joke Arianna "He said through gritted teeth

The room got dead quiet and I had flashbacks from the past. I looked at Chresanto and he couldn't even look me in the face.

I wasn't about to shed a single tear , I just got walked up the stairs and went up to my room. I laid down in the bed and closed my eyes. I thought this shit was done.
