Hey hey hey!

I'm both excited and anxious to share this one with you guys. Given the book's title, I guess you already have an idea what this anthology book is about. It's all about heartbreaks and the lessons that failed relationships can give us.

If you read some of my books, there are those that doesn't end in a happy note. But it doesn't mean that they are not good. Some stories are just like that. They don't end happily but they ended good. In particular, in this book at least, are relationships between lovers.

Let's face the fact that not all our lovers are good for us. Some relationships become toxic as time goes on. Some just finds incompatibility after being in a long relationship. Or worse, people change behaviors after being complacent with one another.

These are the kinds of stories that I want to explore and examine in this book. And I found the best local author whose works reflect that: Prince Zaire. As a reader of his works, I can describe his library in two words: immersive and unpredictable. When you read his stories, you will be pulled inside the vast world he created that's filled with lots and lots of characters. It's unpredictable in a sense that the main characters all tend to have multiple lovers in the span of the narrative that you don't really know which one he will end up with.

Frankly, those characteristics in his writing style are both his strength and weakness. His stories have a lot of characters that sometimes it's confusing as to who is who. The reverse harem trope that he likes makes it hard for you to cheer on a particular lover because of his non-foreshadowing twists. But it's just me saying that since essentially, our styles our quite the opposite as I tend to focus on character development while he's more on exposition.

For the longest time, I have refrained from translating Prince Zaire's works to share with you guys because: 1) He's here in Wattpad; 2) Translating his work is a chore; But when I checked his account again. It seemed like his works are gone and were reported by his readers. I don't know the hell why they do that. It's written in our native language so it's only logical that it was reported by Filipino readers. So I am taking this chance to share his works to you.

But take note that I will make one massive change. I will focus on the narratives about heartbreaks. It's common in Prince Zaire's works to have a long time boyfriend who will dump the main character. And I will replace them with ForthBeam for our context. I want to do a deep dive on their relationship like how it all fell apart and how does it affect them. Because in the source materials, the main character will meet a new lover or go to the arms of a suitor after heartbreak.

Ready tissues.

Coming soon!
