Chapter 1: Team Up

(Vex pov)

A boy named Vex lives in the town of Grimgar, he knew it was going to be a hard time for him but he always had to look on the bright side. As he started out, the class he took was samurai. His teacher was hard on him learning how to hold and use a sword 

After a month he finally mastered the sword and his training ended. Him starting out as a rookie was hard to find a teammate, it seems most of the people that were making teams weren't letting him in, he sighs and heads off by himself and puts in some training.

He knew that it was going to be hard for him because he didn't have a healer and he didn't have backups and it was only him fighting for his own life, he decided to play it smart and buy some potions with the money that he had which wasn't very much.

He asked around were the perfect training spot was and some people said it would be best for him to start off in the old city of Damuro. When heading there he spent 3 days taking out goblins and it was sort of easy on his own, but he didn't let his cockiness get the better of him as it was just him being lucky that he wasn't jumped by 5 or more, he would always take out one at a time and make sure that it would be sleeping which made it easier for him to cut them in half and making money off of them.

He was able to buy himself new clothes and food that would last them for a week, but being 17 years old and having a big appetite it was hard for him to not eat every single food insight. A week later he was on a roll with killing goblins and even challenged himself to even fight two or three at a time. He was able to keep four or five bottles of potions in case he got hurt

Until he was outnumbered and got surrounded by five goblins, he tried his hardest to fight his way out but because there were five of them they were hard to fight alone.

He was back there against one of the broken walls of a building holding his sword shaking as he feared that this would be his last time alive, just as one goblins jumped up to attack him a bolt of Lighting came from the skies killing it instantly

And then three more bolts of lightning hit three more goblins

"What is going on?"

He said to himself as the last goblin was set on fire. vex looked around trying to see who did this

"Are you okay?"

a voice asked from behind him, it appeared from one of the broken walls of the building. He saw that it was a girl. The girl had tan dark skin, long purple hair, and lavender eyes, she wears a blue ribbon on the left side of her head. She wears the standard female uniform as her witch's hat had two tails. She also had black boots with knee-high purple stockings and a long black lab coat.

"Um, thank you," Vex said as the girl smiled

"No problem...sorry about not helping you before, I thought you were doing fine until you got attacked"

"What do you mean, have you been watching me all this time?"

He asked her as she only nodded, he couldn't believe that she was watching him and didn't even bother to help, he thought about asking her for that reason but decided to let it go.

"So are you here doing training as well?"

"That's right, I've been coming here for a while but other days I don't and take breaks"

She said. the two headed back to Grimgar for a break. they sat together at a tavern to get to know each 

"My name is tsume and I am a necromancer"

Vex was surprised to know that she was a necromancer and thought that she might have been a mage by the way she was dressed.

"I'm vex and I'm a samurai"

"Awesome, I never met a samurai before"

She said with a smile, And that day is when the two of them became close friends and journeyed together
