Chapter 7: her imprisonment

Vex was able to find tsume having a mental breakdown in the bathroom, things were destroyed and you can hear her screaming and crying. What was it that broke her like this, what pain was she going threw that he didn't know

He wanted to go to her and give her Comfort but something in him told him not to, and instead of him doing it Stephanie is here then did it for him

She used a spell to calm her down as she collapsed into Stephanie's arms.

Sometimes the heart can't bear what the body's been through, it would be best if we go talk to her master. When they spoke to him he told them about Tsume's past and how she was scar not only physically but mentally.

Her friends didn't say anything but took her master's advice and watched over her. They took a week off for a break, everyone just relaxed and played games and mostly tried to cheer tsume up

"We don't have to always work you know "

Faiya said s they went out to a field and lay on the grass

"It's pretty relaxing when you don't have to worry about surviving"

Vex said as Stephanie and lita agreed

"I'm afraid"

Tsume whispered as they looked to her

"I'm afraid that something bad will happen to end everyone's life and I would be the cause of it"

they didn't understand what she meant by that but they tried to reassure her that nothing bad was going to happen to them, and if something did happen Stephanie for tsume can bring them back. For the last days of them having a free day they went to the tavern for something to eat, they together talked about where they should go exploring next since the outside world was so big, they did go back to most of their old hunting grounds just for fun and to make quick cash

They were best friends and none of them wanted this moment of theirs to end. Why they were in the Tavern having lunch and chatting they overheard a group called a nightmare, who came back after 14 weeks of being away

The leader's name was Gozaburo as he talked about his adventures as he was explaining where they went and who they killed, everyone in the tavern seem to be impressed but when Vex looked over to tsume , he could see that she was trying to hide herself using her cloak

"Tsume?"

Faiya called but vex stopped her. He had a Feeling something was scaring her, Gozaburo talked about a girlfriend he once had and told everyone how useless she but cute to the touch

The crow cheered when he spoke about her, he never gave a name but he seemed really happy about it

"She ran away after a couple of years with me. But that doesn't mean I won't find her "

He said with a laugh as his men laughed as well.

"What are you going to do when you find he ?"

Asked one of his friends

"Well, ask her to come back...I need her, no girl is stronger than she was "

He said as vex and the others could see he had 2 girls on his team and they were both mages.

"I have to go"

She whispered as her voice trembled she got up with the rest of her friends who tried to help her get out as she quickly made her way to the exit but was stopped by him who caught them leaving

"Where are you guys going, the party has just begun"

He spoke as Vex knew this something bad was going to happen and got in the way and told the guy that they were in a hurry

"I see.."

his eyes scanned everyone as his eyes laid on tsume but Vex stand in the way not allowing him to get closer to her

"I see you have a sorcerer on your team, what's her name?"

"Sorry but my friend doesn't like talking to strangers"

Vex said as the others back them up and they tried once again to get out but as soon as he stopped them again and grabbed hold of tsume as he was shocked to see that it was her, to everyone's surprise, they did know each other

"Darling it's so good to see you again, I miss you so much"

he said as he pulled her into a hug they could see how scared she was and she didn't even look the guy in the eyes

"I had a feeling it was you, you're not very good at hiding"

The others didn't know what was going on but they could tell that this guy was probably the manipulator that scarred tsume,

"Look my friend needs to go now can you book her another day"

Faiya said stepping in as Gozaburo didn't seem to like that and glared daggers at her but faiya wasn't scared of this guy and knew what kind of man he was by the way he spoke and by the way he was acting as he cared

"And who the hell are you?"

"My name is faiya and I am a fire mage. Don't mess with me!"

Faiya said seriously but the guy only laughed at her not taking her seriously which pissed her off but Lita was able to stop her from doing it anything as she felt like she wanted to blow the guy away, as this was happening the bartender wanted everyone to leave so a fight did not break out.

"Tsume, let's go hang out and talk"

"No"

She said and finally looked the guy in the eyes

"Stay away from me!"

She ran out of the tavern as everyone followed. Back up there Hotel tsume finally came clean about her past and she told Vex that what she told him was a lie

I was part of that man's team a long time ago but I had no idea why I stayed with them for so long, we actually fell in love but at the same time, I got him killed

"What do you mean you got him killed, if he was dead..."

Faiya started and then stop talking when she realized that tsume brung him back to life.

"Not only was I used as his Safeguard and regeneration machine but his team started to be very risky knowing fully well that I can bring them back to life"

Everyone stayed silent as she continued her story

"When I would refuse I would get punished, I was too afraid to leave then and he started making me use my powers for things I was not comfortable with, and that was when he marked me"

She said removing her cloak as she turned her back to her team showing them her back which had 5 claw Marks, She could hear their gasp from them as she covered them up.

"I'm sorry guys ... you shouldn't have a leader that lies to you "

She said as she forced a smile

"So I decided that I'm leaving the Elementals"

"What?!"

Everyone shouted when hearing this as they tried to talk her out of it, Vex had a feeling the reason why she was leaving was that she was terrified of the guy that tortured her, everyone knew that she was running away and they didn't want her to leave as she was the best leader they ever had but it was more than her being a leader it was that she was a good friend to them and they didn't want to lose that either

"Will protect you from him, We're Not Afraid!"

Lita said trying to convince her not to leave but sit on me was just afraid that they will be there next Target and that she would be too afraid to fight back, the reason why she ran away from him was to start afresh beginning and meeting Vex in the others was a great start.

"You all are too precious for me to lose, Gozaburo doesn't care who stands in his way, I even watched him kill one of his comrades before he got those two other Mages"

She explained

"We don't care, we got your back"

Lita said as everyone hugged her, she thanked them
