That next day, everyone had come up with plans and they were all very stubborn about changing them. This made it hard to compromise because no one wanted to give up their own plan to do somebody else's, but Agatha managed it. They went with her plan; Sophie's was too flirty, Tedros didn't use his brain enough to come up with a decent plan, and Hester's involved killing too many innocent people. So Agatha's was the winner.

It was simple: They were going to wait until Japeth, Rafal, and Aric came back. Then ambush them.

In the meantime Tedros, Bodhi and Laithon would go around the Good Castle and find stuff that could be used as weapons against the Snake. Although Ravan made the point that they would probably find more weapons in the Evil castle. So he, Mona, Arachne, and Vex would go there. Ravan and Tedros had made a bet that they could each find more weapons in their own schools, both boys determined to win.

Beatrix, Reena, Valentina, Finnley, and the coven would scout out places in the garden and around the schools to hide the weapons so that they would be easily accessible for an ambush.

Hort, Sophie, and Agatha would head to Bloodbrook to find a man-wolf so that they could wake Kiko, William, and Bogden; The more people they had on their side, the more likely they were to survive.

"Teddy, would you be a darling and fetch my bags from upstairs?" Sophie called, her voice echoing through the stairwell.

Tedros sighed and looked at Agatha, hoping she would say he didn't have to. But Agatha was busy telling everyone what part they played in the plan, and Tedros decided it would probably be easier to take 3 minutes and do what Sophie asked him.

"Teddy? Where are you?" Sophie fretted, then she spotted him going up the staircase and her face lit up. "Could you also bring down my makeup bags and hair bags?" she cooed.

"Geez Sophie, you're gonna be gone for 2 days! What do you need an entire bag of makeup for?" he burst out, still striding up the stairs.

"Um...no, I didn't say makeup bag. I said makeup bags. There's four!" she corrected him.

Tedros rolled his eyes, and started jogging up the remaining stairs.

Hester stalked up behind Sophie. "What do you need 4 makeup bags for?" she asked.

Sophie was confused. Hester never just talked to her like a normal person. She was always making fun of her. Sophie looked at the witch's face, assessing if this could somehow turn into an insult to herself. But Hester's face was completely sincere.

Weird.

Sophie felt a shiver run up her shoulder, like little baby feet were walking on her.

"Not like you would know anything about makeu-" Sophie insulted, before Hester completely lost interest in the conversation and walked away.

Sophie looked down at her feet dumbly, embarrassed that her insult wasn't even good enough to keep Hester engaged. And that girl actually took joy in insulting people!

Sophie spotted Agatha ordering everyone to their spots. Of course she had taken control of the plan, it was Agatha after all.

"Aggie! When does our carriage get here?" Sophie greeted. The queen whirled around; she was holding two clipboards stacked on top of eachother with names of all their questmates. She had #2 pencils behind each ear and her hair looked like one of Anadil's rats had run through it all night long. The queen had eye bags, bigger than usual, which Sophie thought was impossible.

"Um..." Agatha said, while frantically flipping through the millions of papers crammed onto the clipboard. She looked like she was trying to focus on so many things at the same time, that she was going insane.
