Aric held a dagger to Tedros's throat. He leaned down so that his lips grazed the blonde boy's ear.

"Death will come to the Snake," he cooed, a wicked smirk starting to grow on his face as he took in Tedros in Japeth's suit.

"You're right," Tedros provoked. "and I'll be the one to kill him and you," he said, anger bubbling up inside of him.

Aric didn't seem phased by his response- already knowing that Tedros knew who he was under his armor. "Says the one wearing the suit," he cut the dagger deeper into Tedros's neck, about to spill blood.

The purple eyed boy looked like he wanted to taunt Tedros more, but kept his mouth shut when someone else started talking.

"As the real One True King," the Snake proclaimed with a snide expression. "my first proclamations will be to kill the imposter!" Japeth roared as he pointed his golden index finger towards Tedros.

Slowly more gold started to seep out of his finger, forming something solid.

Something Tedros knew well.

Lionsmane.

Japeth held his pen up to the sky in triumph. Then, looking straight at Tedros, he started writing with it.

Sophie stood next to him and leaned her head on his shoulder as he wrote.

Behind him Aric stood up straighter, tightening his grip on Tedros, as if he didn't like being third in command- or, more likely, second to none other than Sophie.

The Snake finished writing, bringing his arm down to his side. He dropped Lionsmane into his blue suit pocket and then brought his hand back up. In a swift motion, he lifted his palm upwards and the golden words went darting into the sky.

Tedros lifted his head up to try and read the message.

By order of King Rhian, Tedros of Camelot will be killed for impersonating royalty, breaking and entering Camelot castle, and murder of many such as Clarissa Dovey- A well known fairy godmother, Princess Bettina of Jaunt Jolie, and Robin Hood- one of our wood's saviors. The Snake will be killed tonight.

Japeth looked to Tedros, shaking with rage in Aric's grip. The Snake grinned smugly, and even though he couldn't see it, he knew Aric was returning the grin. Tedros looked back up at the sky, gleaming with the golden letters that were being read across the woods.

Suddenly, they started to disintegrate, small pieces of golden dust raining across everyone's faces. Japeth looked up with a startled expression, as if this wasn't part of his plan.

He looked to Tedros; Above Tedros. The Snake locked eyes with Aric and looked frantically back up to the sky.

Quickly, Aric shot a stun spell at Tedros, not even trying to cover up his violet glow anymore. He ran up to Japeth, still covered from head to toe in armor.

Tedros's chest burned like he had just been stabbed clean through. His mind was racing so fast he could barely think and a pounding headache was starting to form at his temples. Looking to the ground, Tedros saw his own hand.

It was starting to go translucent.

He looked back up at the words in the sky, and realized they were coming true. He was being killed at this very moment. The pounding headache and burning chest weren't from the stun spell, they were from a much bigger amount of magic.

The writing of the One True King.

He looked back up, using his last ounce of strength to watch Japeth speaking frantically with the Kingdom Council.
