The Hall was silent for him, but the king didn't utter a single word.

There was a moment of silence before Tedros took a step towards him. The blonde boy looked up expectantly towards his father, but the King's eyes were glassy, like he wasn't fully there.

Tedros closed the distance between them and took his father's hand. Except, he didn't.

Tedros's hand grabbed at air and King Arthur's body warbled as a hologram would.

Then, Arthur spoke, though his mouth didn't move. It seemed as though his voice was booming from the sky.

"The battle is fought, the war will begin, but the ancestor of a Snake is still at large. He will battle for power, but you, my son, you must charge. Forget your past enemies for they are allies now, but beware a Snake for he is a fake, yet still vies for a throne. There may be a war, there may be clatter, but you must not forget your mission: Kill the School Master."

In a burst of wind and golden light, King Arthur disappeared, his last words still resounding through Evil Hall.

Kill the School Master.

Kill the School Master.

Kill the School Master.

Of course, Agatha thought. That's what happened last time. The only reason she and Sophie had gotten home and the war was over was because Rafal had been killed. This was the answer. King Arthur had given her the answer. The crystal would be completely set back to normal if she killed the School Master, sending her back to her reality just in time to save Tedros.

The Hall was silent for a moment before-

"What-" Tedros blurted, then he turned his gaze on Agatha. "What did you do?" It wasn't an accusation as much as a question.

Agatha had brought his father back from the grave, even if it was just a hologram. That deserved an explanation.

"I can-" Agatha cleared her throat. "I can grant wishes."

Tedros stared at her as if she just answered a completely different question- which she had.

"I mean... I granted someone's wish. Someone who wanted to help us." It was better not to tell Tedros that it had been her own wish that brought his father back and not his.

"I- no!" Tedros fumbled for words.

"Tedros, we need to listen to him," Agatha said, reliving the words spoken by King Arthur. "He said 'Forget your past enemies, for they are allies now'. He was talking about us, about the Evers and Nevers needing to work together!"

But before Tedros could say another word, August Sader slammed open the doors to Evil Hall. He wasn't very intimidating with his green suit and wispy gray hair, but the look on his face said he meant business.

"Agatha!" he shouted, eyes wild, not knowing where she was in the room.

Agatha gave him a look as her eyes switched between him and Tedros. But August didn't even need to say anything; his eyes held the answer and that's when she saw it.

A pale, bony girl with black helmet hair and a midnight blue gown matching her own entering the School for Evil. Agatha booked it towards Professor Sader without another word. She didn't know what would happen to her if her past self saw her, but she knew she didn't want to find out.

Agatha flew through the halls and ran to the only room she knew for certain would be safe in this awful castle; Malice tower, room 66.

The door swung open with a creak and there sat three beds; one for each witch. She turned around, and saw Professor Sader in his green suit closing the door ever so quietly; Agatha would have just slammed it.
