This has to be love-Barbatos pt. 5

It had already been a week, your training had ended and it was time to go live with and be a maid for the 7 brothers. You weren't excited to wait hand and foot on 7 people, you also weren't excited to leave barbatos. While you didn't have time to get to know eachother more, being busy with training and all, it felt as though you did. The way you interacted, talked, and felt when with each other, it was as if you both hadn't known each other for a week.

Barbatos was helping you pack, he reminded you that you'd see each other again soon. He also told you that diavolo and brothers decided that instead of a week until your break, it would be a month. While you weren't happy of this, you decided to just pay attention to the face you'd see each other again soon. He helped you pack your things and walked you down to entrance where Lucifer was waiting for you to take you to the house of lamentations. You both said a goodbye, and than you left with Lucifer.

After the first 2 days you knew this wouldn't be fun at all. The older brothers, Lucifer to Satan, where a pain always asking you to do the most tedious things. The younger brothers, asmo and Beel, weren't as bad. But Belphie was the worst of them all. It was obvious he didn't like nor want you here, but since you were, he wanted to remind you that you were in hell. You once asked Beel why he seemed to have such a problem with you when you've known him only a week. Beel than explained the story of there sister Lilith and how Belphie now has a grudge against humans.

Beel and Lucifer were nice enough to take you to talk to him about it. Since they were his most trustworthy brothers Belphie decided to listen, and somehow you were able to make him think differently. While he now didn't try to make your life terrible it was still a pain of taking care of them all. You soon went on auto pilot, only one thing on your mind, finally getting to see barbatos at the end of the month. You wanted to have 2-3 break days a month to relax and maybe see barbatos but they said it would take a couple months to prove you need and deserve it.

But that day finally came. You woke up early, got dressed, made the brothers breakfast, and than you than sat in your room waiting. Barbatos said he'd come pick you up and bring you over to the castle. As soon as you heard your phone ding you booked it to the front door, you had no other contacts besides him and the brothers so you knew it was him. You nearly ran into asmo and Levi, bringing there plates to the kitchen, and ran out to meet Barbatos at the gate.

There he was, standing at the gate watching you running to him with a smile on his face. But while running you tripped on a root, hidden by the fallen leaves on the ground.

BARBATOS POV:

I woke up a bit earlier than usual to try and do all my duty's that needed to be done today so I could spend time with Y/N. The young master had gone to visit a noble friend to catch up and talk over documents so I had the whole day with them. Once the young master left I quickly made my way to the house of lamentations. I had been thinking of this moment since they left, I still find it a bit silly that someone can make me feel this way about them, especially in the matter of a week.

I was a minute away from the house, so I texted them telling them I was there so i didn't have to wait for them to run out. I had just arrived and as soon as I did the front door flung open and out ran Y/N. Merely laying my eyes on them made all the emotions that I had been trying to suppress, in order to focus on my work, came flooding back. Seeing that they were as happy to see me as I them, I couldn't help but smile and let the emotions overcome me, this light feeling that feels as though I was in the celestial realm.

Those emotions quickly switched to panic when I saw them trip and start falling, before I knew it I had caught them and was holding them tightly in my arms. I was about to ask if they were ok but before I could they stood up smiling, "hello barbatos, thank you for catching me". I couldn't help smiling back while sighing, "hello Y/N, and you're welcome." Though I guess my face still showed how worried "I'm ok, thanks to you, don't worry." I calmed myself down a bit, "I'm glad to hear that." I said. Y/N than took my hand and started pulling along and asking me how I was.

I had unknowingly held there hand back and caught up so I was instead standing next to them, I told them I was fine and let it slip of how happy I was to see them. When I said this I realized I let my emotions overcome me a bit too much. I quickly stood straight and composed myself while, begrudgingly, letting go of there hand. Since these emotions were so new and strong I decided to indulge, but remembered my status and where we were. We'd have to walk thru the streets where many demons will be, it's already gotten around that a human is here and I had to make sure they were safe.

YOUR POV:

I had took barbatos' hand to walk with him but after a couple minutes he abruptly let go of it and went back to his normal self. I didn't know why, I was slightly upset, but decided to not think of it and live in the moment of being with him for this one day. You started walking by all the shops and noticed many demons staring at you, did they know I was human, am I in danger, what if they try and attack me. I moved closer to barbatos getting a bit paranoid by how many demon were staring with hunger in there eyes. When I did this he wrapped his pinky with mine and gave me a as if saying I was ok.

I remembered hes one of the most powerful demons and he wouldn't let anything happen to me. I smiled back at him and he secretly held my pinky all the way to the castle. Once we had arrived a little d came out with freshly made tea. We sat for a bit and barbatos asked me about how working for the brothers is going. He listened to me rant and complain about the ups and many downs. I didn't fully mean to do this but I felt that Barbatos wouldn't mind.

BARBATOS POV:

I had listened to Y/N rant about work and tried to find ways to help and make it a bit easier. They said they'd try my techniques and seemed to be calmer after letting it all out. It made me very happy knowing that I was helping the best I could. We sat in a comfortable silence together drinking tea and eating the sweets I made for them. I decided to take this opportunity to finally get to know them better to confirm my love for them.

I started asking questions about them and answering questions they had for me. Some more minor and some more in detail but we both answered as if it was nothing. We talked and laughed together for what felt like hours. At one point I had locked eyes with them and ended up just staring into there eyes. We stared for a couple seconds and smiled in a comfortable silence. My eyes started glancing down to there lips and back to there eyes, I started feeling something in my heart that I've never felt before. I could feel my face starting to get closer to theres and there's closer to mine.

But before our faces got close enough, my watch went off telling me it's time for me to make lunch. Both of us couldn't help but burst out laughing at this, we both agreed that we were hungry and should probably go make lunch. I got up and put out my hand out my hand to help Y/N up, as they stood up I pulled them into my arms and kissed them. I than started walking to the kitchen. While the moment was interrupted, I refused to let the moment completely slip away.

I looked back to them and held out my hand urging them to come with me. They looked both shocked and happy but walked over to me and took my hand. We both started walking together in a comfortable silence, but I knew both of us were thinking the same exact thing.
