☀️Chapter 4☀️

"So..Have you said anything to Takemichi yet?"

Mikey should've just spent his time with Ken-chin. Instead, here he was with Baji and Kazutora at a restaurant.

After the whole thing at the park, Mikey's heart wouldn't calm down. He was thinking of little scenarios in his head. Romantic ones..He had not a single idea of what was considered romantic, they were just things he wanted to do with Takemichi.

He was awkward..not that he would admit that to his own friends of all things.

"Shouldn't you both be worried about courting Chifuyu? How'd that even go anyways? Your little hangout at the cat café?" Mikey asked bluntly.

Baji turned into a stuttering mess and Kazutora looked disappointed.

Mikey knew Baji was a mess when it came to people he liked, but this was a whole other level. "I'm assuming you failed to say anything?" Mikey questioned.

"Keisuke was trying his best to flirt but you can guess how that went.." Kazutora said.

"Jeez Baji..At this rate you'll never be able to tell Chifuyu how you feel, at least have Kazutora help since he's your mate and likes Chifuyu as well" Mikey was sipping his milkshake.

"What about you? You haven't made any progress with Takemichi.." Baji said.

"There is a difference between the three of us, Baji," Mikey stated.

Baji frowned at the boy, and Mikey knew those looks well. He didn't know romance or any of those feelings quite well.

He's never had a relationship, and it was a scary feeling. What if Takemichi wanted someone with experience? Mikey was quite terrified of the thing they call feelings.

He knew how he felt for the dear Omega Boy.

His heart would never stop beating so fast around him, and eyes would never leave his face. His fingers would ache to hold Micchi's hand so tight.

It was really hard..

"Mikey.." Baji started.

"It's fine, I'm happy for you and Kazutora.. Chifuyu is really lucky to have alphas like you. I just need to keep Takemichi out of harm's way for now" Mikey stood up and placed the money down.

It was the least Mikey could do after all Takemichi did, Takemichi was brave and charming. Things people didn't expect from Omegas but Mikey didn't care for the stereotypes.

He wasn't like that, He wouldn't care for how someone was like in terms of body shape and such.

Takemichi was just different from anyone, He wasn't like any Omega. He was...Driven.

When he had saved Draken's life, Mikey was so incredibly thankful. He saved his best friend's Life..at the risk of his own potential.

Mikey liked..no, He loved Takemichi. He did so much and risked his own life so many times, it hurt Mikey deeply.

He did wanna confront him about it, but he was just as stubborn as any of the Toman Members. Maybe more than any of them.

He loved how determined Takemichi was. Those eyes would never fail to impress him.

Still he was scared. So fucking scared of Takemichi, well maybe not Takemichi..but the feelings he has for him.

He wasn't surrounded by that kind of stuff when he was younger, he didn't see people fall in love or have dates.

His older brother may have been girl crazy but he was an Omega. It was one of the reasons Mikey looked up to Shinichiro.

Even in society, Alphas tend to look down at Omegas, especially ignorant ones. He was still highly respected by his Alpha members in the Black Dragons.

As Mikey grew older he did grow very protective of his older brother, he would catch people's glances of the eagerness they had for his dear brother.

Of course..Mikey did have his eyes..but he didn't have Shinichiro's kindness.

Anyone who tried to put their hands on Shinichiro got their skull smashed. Of course Shinichiro had been curious when people had started being nervous around him.

Mikey only replied with "Maybe their cold" and "They probably forget their wallet" it was just how he was.

Thinking back, he wasn't so smooth at throwing off Shinichiro. He probably picked up on his lying.

Still, Shinichiro sure was amazing for what he's done. Be one of the founders and first Leaders of the Black Dragons and be an Omega.

He was a cool man in Mikey's eyes.

So imagine his surprise, when Shinichiro started talking about how he fell for someone. Started describing every symptom of love struck.

Mikey thought he was delusional to ever fall in love with someone. It was a stupid feeling that only ended in heart break in the end.

Of course, Shinichiro said there was much more to romance, and one day Mikey would understand that.

He called his brother bluff, and said that he would never fall with someone. Shinichiro only laughed at him, and said to him that he used to think the same way in middle school.

Of course Alphas lined up, and wanted to court Shinichiro. Other Omega Women thought he was ugly..and of course that crushed Shinichiro. He wanted friends and it wasn't easy when glares were everywhere in the hallways.

That was when Shinichiro met Takeomi..A beta, like Mikey. He seemed really awkward from how Shinichiro described him, but he was a badass who kept Shinichiro safe from unwanted attention.

Alpha Males and Omega Women. Takeomi was there. Of course they were good friends and that was when Shinichiro met Wakasa, an Alpha.

Shinichiro always thought he liked women..but Wakasa was.. different. He made Shinichiro feel safe in his embrace. Takeomi took notice of that, and yeah he was happy for his friends.

His friends were mates, and Takeomi took the responsibility of protecting Shinichiro, When Wakasa was busy.

Still..He had high respect for the Omega Leader. He was well-driven and strong-willed. Though he was an idiot when he showed kindness to people.

Some Alphas took that as a sign, as Shinichiro was interested in mating with them. So Takeomi had to butt in and put his foot down.

Mikey still could never understand how Shinichiro fell for someone like Wakasa. Shinichiro only ruffled his hair.

("You'll understand..One day, Someone will make it so it's unbearable to imagine your life without them and you don't want them with any one else")

That was the last sentence Mikey ever heard from Shinichiro. He and Wakasa got into a motorcycle accident. Wakasa got a few bruises..but Shinichiro, He was in a Coma.

Of course, Mikey was still holding onto hope, everyone was. Wakasa always visited and even fell asleep there.

It did hurt..It still hurt. But, Shinichiro would smack Wakasa and Mikey upside of the head if they constantly worry.

Mikey now understood what Shinichiro said about Love.

He couldn't imagine a life without Takemichi, the thought of Takemichi with another person made his heart ache. He wanted to do romantic things with Takemichi.

He was in love with him.

He was so deeply in love with Takemichi that it scared him.

He was scared of being in love with Takemichi, He was scared of losing him and these feelings weren't making it any easier.
