✨Chapter 10✨

"You can't keep sulking," Draken said.

"Sure I can, Just watch" Mikey pulled the blanket over his head.

Draken let out a breath. It's been a few days since the Christmas Incident. Mikey having to rest, reviewing medical treatment.

Draken and Emma taking turns cleaning and repatching the wound. Where Mikey sat still and let them do what they needed to do.

"You know everyone just wants you to get better. That's all and then everything will be alright" Draken explained.

"I know that. I just.. How's everyone doing?" Mikey asked.

"That's what's concerning you?" Draken raised an eyebrow.

"Oh I don't know Ken-chin, it wasn't like A group of Alphas tried to take advantage of Chifuyu, where I and Baji could've ended up going to Jail. And Nearly Die" Mikey said.

"You know what happened with you and Baji beating them was justified. After all, Alphas like that won't be tolerated in society" Draken told him.

"Yet they are Ken-chin. Most don't even get caught, they're good at being what society placed upon them. Controlling and Dominant" Mikey pointed out.

"Mikey..I know you're worried sick about Chifuyu and Takemichi. But, You have to get better before you can go see them" Draken stated.

Mikey looked away. He didn't wanna hear this from his best friend.

"It's just like before..Where everyone was keeping me away from visiting Shinichiro" Mikey muttered.

"Mikey..You know that's not tru-" Draken tried to comfort him.

"No..I don't wanna hear it. You can go, I'm going back to bed" Mikey turned to his side.

Draken stood up, and left. Mikey didn't wanna sound rude. He's just worried, and he's tired of waiting. Phone calls aren't enough.

He wants to hug them. Still...He can't hug Shinichiro. That hurts a lot, not having his role model in his life. The person who basically raised him.

One thing is, He hates these feelings of romance. He always took the advice of good he would be.

Yet, It seems every time. It won't work. He's just bounded to being alone. He's so tired, He really wants to be alone.

Even if he is alone right now. He doesn't wanna be home. Of course, He's gonna leave just for a while.

Leaving his bed. Slipping his sandals on, and exiting the place he called his bedroom. Emma was there with a tray of food.

"You know you're supposed to be laying down," Emma said.

"I just need fresh air.." Mikey said.

He exited the house, with a worried Emma calling out his name. He shouldn't be this petty, but his mind is running wild.

The wind was calm, and he needed that.

The cold wind, he's tired of the warmth. He wants to have his mind at ease. And Being somewhere that wasn't home was what he needed.

The city was quiet. Not the normal loud activity that was usually happening around the area. Did Mikey like this? Possibly.

Where the loudness was no more. Where the silence was nice, no ringing of phones or yelling was happening.

Like it usually was. His body still hurts from the incident. He can soon relax, he just has a while until he reaches a place where he can be on his own.
