As I marched through the half-empty armoury, I cursed my dumb ass for not realising Ian's plan sooner. How could I be so stupid? Of course he would try to pull something like this.

"What do we do?" Thomas asked, his voice turning nervous. "Soldiers aren't here yet! We agreed we'd be there at midnight!"

"You do nothing." I grabbed two remaining guns off the metal shelves and tucked them into my pants. "Everything goes according to plan. I will find Ian."

"What's going on?" Sheila stood up and followed me around the armoury.

Thomas answered in my stead, "Ian went to fight Vilmus alone."

I threw an assault rifle over my shoulder and grabbed the duffel bag from the shelf. Goddamn soldiers took all my weapons. I had barely anything left. I filled the bag with a bunch of stakes and blood and proceeded to the lab, Thomas at my heels.

"How will you know where he went?" Thomas asked.

I turned around and pointed at the underground tunnels layout, "Vilmus's chambers."

"That's probably heavily guarded." Thomas squeezed through his teeth.

"Yes, well, Ian thinks he's fucking invincible." I stared at the paper, taking in all the possible entrances.

One was in the mountains, probably hidden from view, but it was also the quietest spot. There was the entrance that led to the river, but going there wasn't such a good idea. The other two led to the streets, one was the main entrance and the other an underground entrance.

The army wasn't here. It would take them at least an hour to reach the spot. I didn't have enough ammo and if I spent it all on taking care of the guards at the entrances, I would have nothing left to deal with the guys inside.

"What are you thinking?" Thomas's gaze jumped up and down my face.

My eyes darted to the armoury, "I'm thinking I should hide in plain sight."

Thomas took in a sharp breath, "Chloe..."

"Sheila, Tina!" I pushed past Thomas. "Today is your lucky day!"

The two girls exchanged glances, their eyes widening.

"What do you mean?"

"You're coming with me." I threw a take towards each of them. "And you're dressing slutty."

"Chloe." Thomas growled. "A bad idea."

"No one will know." I said sweetly. "I won't let them fight. They'll just make it easier for me to come through the front door."

Thomas's entire body tensed, "You can't just walk in."

"We're women, Thomas." Tina looked at the stake like I've just handed her a new favourite toy. "We can come in wherever we want."

"They're going to know you're enemies." Thomas pushed. "Plus, it's not like the Sacred Order is closed off to women. There are female vamps there and they won't appreciate the intrusion."

"I just need a distraction." I ran up the stairs, Sheila and Tina at my heels. "One minute and they'll be out of there. Plus, soldiers might arrive just in time to get them out."

"This is going to go horribly wrong." Thomas mumbled.

"You say that every time." I eyed him under my lashes. "It's kind of like a boy who cried wolf at this point."

Thomas breathed out through his nostrils, but said nothing.

Tina and Sheila both put on black, shot dresses and put the stakes in their matching purses. I couldn't wear a dress because I needed to have something I could move in on, but I put on a very tight shirt and hoped it would do. The duffel bag in my hand felt heavier than before, mostly because I had no idea how to bring it inside.
