Thirty six hours later, in London, Anastasya rides on the back of Layla's motorcycle. The curly haired woman not having said who they're going to meet up with, so her friend can be left in the dark just like she was in Morocco.

About thirty minutes into the ride, just as Anya's about to ask how much longer, Layla parks in front of an old apartment building. "Let's go, they're waiting," Faouly quickly gets off the bike and inside the building, her friend right behind her, skeptical of getting someone else involved.

They get into the elevator, going to the fifth floor. When the doors open, Layla speed walks out and toward a housing unit, banging on the door with her fist, then opens the door, letting herself in. She grabs Anya's wrist and drags her inside, locking the door behind them.

The woman looks around, seeing a large tank with two goldfish, one of which has a missing fin. She looks at all the books on the floor and tables, noticing this person must be a hoarder.

"Marc? Steven? Anyone home?" the curly haired woman calls out, to what seems to be an empty flat.

"Yeah, yeah. Hold on, yeah?" a man shouts from somewhere toward the back of the room with a British accent. A few moments later a man with dark, curly hair and equally dark bags under his eyes, walks out of what looks to be his bathroom. "Hiya. Sorry about the mess, I didn't have time to tidy up, so sorry."

"Steven, it's alright," Layla chuckles as she goes to look at the fish, leaving her friend standing by the door.

The man looks at Anya, "Uh, I'm Steven with a 'V,' but you just heard her say that, but I think it's still good to introduce myself, yeah?"

The woman chuckles, "I'm Anastasya, but Anya's fine." She keeps a soft smile on her lips, "Thank you for saying you'd help us out and sorry for just barging in here," she directs the last part at Layla, who scoffs.

"Oh, it's quite alright! We don't mind, she's a very good friend of ours," Steven smiles at the women. "Uh, you guys can have a seat if you'd like and we can start talking about the situation at hand."

"Yeah, okay," Anya follows Layla and Steven over to his rounded table in his small kitchen. They sit down, Ana sitting close to Layla. She clears her throat, "Uh, should we wait for Marc?" recalling that her friend had said two names, instead of one.

"I'm already here," the man says, but his British accent is gone, he's American. "I'm Marc."

"Hi," she gives him a soft smile. "I'm Anastasya, but you can call me Anya."

Marc chuckles at her, "I know, I heard you tell Steven your name." He stares at her for a moment, thinking to himself, but his face changes from a harsh look, to a softer one.

"Yeah," she gives him a soft smile, "it's nice to meet you both."

"You as well, Anya, we've heard a lot about you just from one phone call," the British accent comes back.

She chuckles at the man's cheeriness and hums in response. "I would say that I hope it's all good things, but under these circumstances I bet it's all terrible."

"Not really. We only know that you guys were attacked by zombies and that you've got issues controlling your, um... your powers. Which, might I say, is pretty cool, yeah. I wish I had powers, that'd be aces-" he stops himself, thinking he's talking too much. "Sorry, you guys aren't here for any of that."
