Chapter 2

Jay's POV

Jay: So Laura your Oakley's mom?

Laura: Yeah and your her dad.

Jay: Wait what! You didn't tell me?

Laura: No what's the fun in that?

Jay: Well I hope you go to jail.

I put her in Adams car and Hank looks at me.

Hank: And how do you know her?

Jay: She was my ex a long time ago. Look I didn't know I had a daughter but when she did first walk in I thought she looked just like me.

Hank: Well go and get a test done to make sure she is and get the rapid one. That means both of you do. 

Jay: Yeah I will.

I drive to the district and go up to Oakley.

Jay: Hey Oakley I have some good and bad news for you.

Oakley: Are they arrested?

Jay: Only your mom. 

Oakley: Wait so what about my stepdad?

Jay: Your mom said he ran off but we are still looking for him okay.

She just nods her head and I feel so bad.

Jay: Hey but there's one more thing I have to tell you and I don't know how your going to feel about it okay.

Oakley: It's good right?

Jay: Yeah I guess. So when you first came in here you looked just like me, you have my eyes and the Halstead smile.

Oakley: I thought I did look like you but what are you getting at? Wait! Are you my dad?

Jay: Maybe your mom said I was so if we go to med we can get a test to find out. And look I swear I had no idea about you.

Oakley: I trust you and if your my dad that would be awesome I really like you.

So with that I told Hank we are going to med.

Jay: Hey by the way my brother works here so if it's okay can he take the test?

Oakley: Yes I want to meet my uncle.

I just smiled at her because she seems so much happier.

When we got there Will was looking at me confused.

Will: Why are you here brother?

Jay: I need to know if I'm Oakley's dad.

Will: Wow did I miss something?

I then told him the whole story and he was really happy for me. We got the test done and waited nervously. Will finally walked in and told us the news.

Will: Well brother looks like I have a niece for sure.

When he said that I was so happy. He walked out of the room to give me and Oakley some privacy. She leaped into my arms and cried happy tears.

Oakley: I can't believe you are actually my dad, I'm so happy to actually have someone in my life and being happy about it.

Jay: Me too and I can't wait for you to live with me if that's what you want.

Oakley: Of course I want that.

Jay: Okay then we can go to the district and I'm going to tell Voight then get the day off.

Oakley: Why do you need the day off?

Jay: Because we need to go to your old house and get your stuff then buy you a bed and other things.

She nodded then Will came in. I went up to him to hung him and so did he.

Will: I'm happy your happy brother.

Jay: Me too.

When I let go Oakley also gave Will a hug.

Oakley: I'm happy to have you as my uncle.

Will: I am too.

After that I told Voight and he was really happy for me. Then me and Oakley got her stuff and went shopping. She was so happy and so was I. That day we set her stuff up and just talked about ourselves all night.
