Stick
I has question hooman

Old man

Stick
Shush
Now
Answer my question

Old man
I don't know what it is

Stick
Who was Bucky's other friend?

Old man
What?

Stick
His other friend
From 1944

Old man
Oh!
Her name is Alicia
I'm pretty sure the two of them were more inseparable than me and Buck.

Stick
Wow

Old man
Yeah
Bucky grew up with her, but I didn't meet her till highschool
I was pretty jealous when she managed to get accepted when I didn't

How'd you know about her?

Stick
Bucky told me
But he got sad
I wanted to hear more about her, so I could try and help him

Old man
You don't need to do that, kid
He just hasn't had some time to grieve
He got captured by Hydra again the year after, so

Stick
Oh
I kinda know how that feels
My dad died a few months ago

Old man
So maybe that's how you can help him

Stick
Cool
Bye

Old man
Talk to you later, kid

. . .

Victoria walks up to Bucky's door, hesitating before she knocks lightly.

"Who is it." He sounded angry.

Did she upset yesterday? Was this a good idea?
To late to find out.

The door swings open, Vic stepping back and looking up at the Super Soldier, his sour expression softening when he sees the girl.
"Hey, kid. What's up?"

"I-" she didn't know. She had no clue how to even start. How do you comfort someone if you don't even know how to comfort yourself?
She frowns, and Bucky seems to catch on, opening his door wider.

"Oh, uh..sorry about the mess," he sighs as the girl steps through the doorway. His bed was stripped of its sheets, the bedding set up on the floor. Plastic bags and plum pits are spilling out of the trash can, and empty beer bottles are scattered around the room.

"I don't think that's how deal with this sorta thing," Victoria says quietly, earning a chuckle from Bucky as he cleans up the mess a bit.
"Um..Steve told me a bit about her. Alicia."

The man frowns, pausing, before beginning to clean up again.

"Y'know," the girl continues, plopping herself on Buck's bed.
"I lost my dad a few months ago."
