A/N: for those of u that skipped the last chapter for reasons of TW, Victoria was having hallucinations of the people she loved that died, and they were not pretty :)
"You said you had hallucinations?"
Bruce asks as he shines a flashlight in Victoria's eyes, the girl humming in reply.
"And these just started? After you saw the...evil cloud?"
Vic hums again.
"Sorry, kid, I- I can't find anything. Everything comes back negative, you're- according to my equipment, you're 100%."
"Well, your equipment is obviously wrong, Banner," Sam snaps, his arms crossed as he leans on the doorframe; the same direction in which Victoria is staring at intently, praying her dad doesn't strangle the man where he stands.
"Now you better figure it out before-"
"Sam, you need to calm down-"
"Shut the fuck up, Banner! My fucking kid is having mental break downs over getting chased by dead people. So you better figure out what kinda weird-ass shit is going on-"
"Did you just call me your kid?" Victoria interrupts, now eyeing the yelling man, who freezes on the spot.
"I mean..I guess, yeah."
"Noice, I have so many dads now-"
"I thought I was your dad," Malcolm hisses, appearing right in the girl's face and causing her to scream and fall off the table, startling the two men in the room as well.
The figure disappears quickly and Victoria hisses in pain as she holds her hand to her chest.
"ᶠᵘᵘᵘᵘᶜᵏᵏ ⁱ ᵗʰⁱⁿᵏ ⁱ ᵇʳᵒᵏᵉ ᵐʸ ʰᵃⁿᵈ"
