Chapter 12-A Little Bit Of Hope

Chelsea’s POV

Friday arrived sooner than I had anticipated. I hadn’t seen Victor since the day before the trip with Riles, but he had texted me saying he was gonna pick me up to go to the train station. Guess Harry also forgot to mention he’d be taking the train. Nick wasn’t too happy I’d be going with Vic-he also wasn’t too happy he wouldn’t be seeing Harry until atleast Saturday or Sunday.

‘Oh stop being a big baby Nicky. You’ll meet Harry tomorrow or day after.’ I had told him on Friday evening while he lounged around my apartment waiting for Vic to come pick me up.

‘But by the Vic would’ve filled Harry’s head with crap about how I’m not good enough for you and then your brother’s gonna beat me up.’ Nick whined.

‘Oh shut up. Vic won’t do that. I’ll tell him not to. Besides, Harry doesn’t really like you much anyways.’

‘What why?’

‘Uh remember the time you kinda tried to rape me?’ I looked at Nick flatly and he once again began grumbling like a little boy.

‘I didn’t try to rape you. I was just drunk. And I already apologized for that.’

He looked up at me which puppy dog eyes so I found myself sighing and sitting down beside him. He shifted and rested his head on my lap and I silently ran my fingers through his soft brown hair.

‘Yes and I already forgave you Nicky. I don’t really think Harry has though..so maybe you could use this trip to win him over.’

‘Yeah I guess so.’

We pondered through our thoughts in silence when the bell rang. Al used this as an excuse to leave the comfort of her room for once and open the door. From the door there was a direct view to the couch me and Nick were sitting on.

The door flung open and there stood Victor in all his male glory. Nick suddenly sat up and narrowed his eyes at Vic while I searched around for my phone before getting up to leave.

‘How cosy.’

Vic said while winking at me. I simply rolled my eyes at him before slipping my shoes on and making my way towards the door. I kissed Nick’s cheek, while he stood beside me glaring hatefully at Victor.

‘Don’t worry Nicks. I’ll bring her back before midnight. Oh wait, you’d have already gone home by then. Maybe she can just stay the night at mine.’ He winked at Nick and Nick took a step forward threateningly before I put my hands on his chest and pushed him back.

‘Jeez Vic really. Give it a rest. I’ll see you tomorrow ok?’ I said towards Vic then Nick.

Neither Victor or Nick looked at me and just continued having a stare down. I groaned and said;

‘Remember the time where you’ll were actually friends?’

Nick was the first to reply.

‘Uh no not really. I never really liked him.’

‘Yeah he was always a dick.’ Vic spat out in retort.

I separated the two and pushed Vic towards the elevator. After one last glance towards Nick me and Vic got onto the elevator and began moving downwards.
