Avast, another night, another damsel in distress he thought to himself.
He was walking across the beach, as he did every night. Hoping to find what he was looking for. He'd been doing it ever since his father died, and had left behind guidelines as to where his treasure was. His father had told him to walk up and down a beach with a yellow jewel he had left him, and let it cry out to the creatures of the sea. He had been doing it for years, with no success, it was never the right one.

Suddenly a beautiful mesmerizing song blew through the air, a song of love, lust and sorrow. A coy grin ran across his face. He started to move in its direction, very well knowing how to handle this scenario. A few feet into the water was a big bolder, where he could hear the song come from. He gently and quietly walked out upon the waters to get a glimpse of her.

He saw a girl, not much older then himself. She was hovering in the water. Her moves were so gentle, and smooth. Her hair was ginger and small white pearls where braided into it. The moon was reflecting her face in the water right next to her, which made the pearls in her hair glisten.

He kept on walking towards her, without her notice, until he by accident slipped and almost fell. Her singing stopped, she quickly turned her head towards him"

"Please don't go away lassie, I just wanna talk" he tried to sound innocent.
And apparently it worked, because she didn't move.

"I'm looking for a siren of the royal family" he explained.

"You found the right siren" she said with confidence in her voice, lifting her upper body to show superiority.

"Me father was William Kidd, and I'm looking for what is rightfully mine, the lost treasure of William Kidd" he stated.

"Why would I help you, do you know how big a dolt your father was to the underwater kingdom through his years of living?" The siren asked offended.

"I'll give ye this?" He pulled out a bracelet from his pouch.

"What is that?" She asked trying her best not to seem interested.

He pulled his hair back into the black bandana he had wrapped around his arm.
"This would be ye free pass to the human world" he smiled at her curiosity, as he got his hair under control.

"What makes you think I have any interest in the human world?" She asked still not fully convinced.

"I've met a few mermaids/sirens before, and they all wish the same thing when they sing this close to land, ye have a crush on a human, ye can't have him because of ye lack of legs. So this is ye free pass, this bracelet is cursed so that ye can walk on land. I got it from an old broad I know."

He placed the bracelet on her wrist and she began to change, her tail split and formed legs. She stood up in the water, but instantly fell again.

"Don't hurt yerself. Learning to walk is no easy task love, let me help ya" he gave her a scaf he had in his belt and she covered herself with it.
Then he went up behind her and lifted her from the water.

"Now a deal is a deal where is William Kidds lost treasure"

She did a motion with her hands, and in midair and a piece of cloth started to appear. He grabbed it and let her go. She fell back into the water again as he ran towards the ship.

"A pleasure to do business with ye, love"

She was sitting the water and couldn't get up, splashing the water around furiously.

"Curse you, Pirate." she shouted after him.

"Anytime dear" he sent her a sly smirk.

When he reached St. Mary's port, his crew was in the middle of loading rum into the ship.
