"Those stupid uncultured swine!" Kidd screamed.
"Why is this bothering you?" Chris asked.
"Yeah, didn't he try to kill you repeatedly, and steal your ship?" Mason added.
"No that's just me and him bantering, we have to do something!"
"Maybe he didn't treat them right? Maybe he did something to piss them off? I mean who knows what happens if you knock over one of their totem poles?" Cora suggested.

"I can guarantee you that they won't be impressed if you knock one over" Mason answered.
"Where the silver reflection lives, the treasure is" Kidd muttered.
"Maybe when they say 'reflection' they are referring to Poseidons looking glass?" Cora added, desperately hoping to find her mother.
"We agree that the old guys looking glass was made to spy on people and find stuff, right?" Kidd asked

"Right" Cora agreed.

"So what if when Robert found what he thought was the treasure, it was in reality the looking glass?"
"Makes sense, I guess. Though it still doesn't explain what your brother is doing working together with that dolt, or why the natives here thought to kidnap both of them."
When Mason heard this part he suddenly realized something.
"You guys, some sub natives believe that silver is sent from the Devil himself. That it changes people by cursing their minds" he lowered his voice for the next thing he was saying, to make sure no one heard him.

"If they came to this island, with a reflecting silver surface, or as we would call it, a looking glass. They may have thought them to be the Devils spawn, which could very well result in a sort of sacrificial burning." Mason explained.

"Oh bloody hell, they'll burn them at the stake! We gotta do something"

"Not to be a selfish lad or anything, but I feel as if someone should suggest this" Chris began.
"What if we just pretend we do not care, take the white widow back, and never return?"
Cora, Kidd, Mason and Toby looked disappointed towards Chris.
"I let ye off the hook, when ye didn't deserve it, so why shouldn't we help James and Robert?" Kidd asked.
Cora felt her cheeks warming up, she was really impressed with how big a heart Kidd had, considering his fathers reputation, and how James had treated him.

"Fine, we'll save them. What do we do?" Chris signed.

"Mason how close have ye gotten with the old man?" Kidd turned his gaze to Mason.

"His name is, Tarbi."

"Okay, how close did ye get with Tarbi?"

"Since he knows my parents, he feels as if we are family" Mason said proud.

"Great, I need to know what's on the agenda for today, think ye can manage to figure that out for me?"
Mason nodded.
"But I need to make sure Toby gets some food first." As those words left Masons lips everybody's stomach decided to rumble in unison.
"Maybe food is a good place to start" Cora said with her hand placed on her stomach.
A sudden fantastic smell of food started dancing through the air, drawing the crew mates to it. As they came closer to the source they saw an old woman standing over a cooking pot, making some kind of porridge. Her hair was pulled back into a pony tail, and her face was painted with red and white, in stripes and dots. She was wearing some sort of dress that made her look as if she was the same size as the cooking pot she was standing by. When she saw us she gave us a kind smile, and gestured for us to come closer.

"Now before I do something I regret, Mason" Kidd looked suspiciously into the pot. "What is she serving?"
"Don't worry mate, it's just plain boring porridge. No hairless dogs or flying bugs"
Kidd exhaled relieved and accepted the bowl of food she gave him.
The crew gulped their food, thanked the old lady. And began planing a rescue.

As the night came closer, the crew had a plan ready. Mason had been talking to Tarbi and had learnt that A strange woman and James had gone to shore with the looking glass, some of Tarbis men had seen them use the power of the looking glass to find a member of the tribe. The looking glass depicted a the little boy with bright blue eyes, that made his dark complexion seem even darker, and a white amulet hanging from his neck, pointing on the map, showing the woman and James the location of the great treasure. The men were horrified by the sight of the black magic coming from the silver looking glass, that they asked Tarbi for permission to interfere and capture these outsiders, and Tarbi agreed.
Apparently James and the woman tried to reason with Tarbi but he refused to listen, so he had them thrown into the cell pit, until he had figured out what was punishment enough for using the power of the Chwazi child to help them on their selfish mission.
"We wait until morning, and then set our plan into motion" Mason said

The crew lit a fire to sleep by again, but this time Chris made sure to sleep as far away from Kidd as possible, resulting in Cora lying between the two. Cora couldn't sleep again, but this time neither could Kidd. They ended up laying next to each other looking at the stars, talking about their hopes and dreams. As the night progresses, they got closer and closer. They were laying so close to one another that their hands were touching, and as Kidd noticed he took her hand. She felt her heart racing, but none of them chose to acknowledge the fact that they were holding hands, they just continued to talk, hand in hand until they dozed off.

The sun had just begun to warm its way through the nights chill when the crew of the duchess was woken by a commotion. They opened their eyes to see the people of the tribe shouting and running - mainly in their direction. Kidds eyes opened up.
"Oh, what now? Can I not have a moments rest."

"What happened?" Mason asked one of the villagers who was holding a spear dangerously close to Toby.

"You and this crew are not welcome here, you bought dishonor on us" he said in a strange English accent. "You working with the enemy, the Azurfa prisoners, Chwazi told us of you plans. It came to him in dream. Now you join them in prison pit, till Ceremony tonight.
One of the young men took the lead. He had a sharp nose and fierce black eyes, and a sharp spear in his hands, which he used to forced the crew mates to walk. Toby was scared and tucked his face into the side of Mason as the walked to the center of the village.
When they reached a hole in the ground, with the top covered by leaves they pushed the crew into it and left.

"Is everybody okay?" Mason asked, wiping the tears away from Toby's face as he hit the hard ground.

"Man I'm sick and tired of getting pushed around" Kidd said frustrated as he straitened the bandana on his head.

"Who's there?" A woman's voice asked from the shadows of the hole.

"We could ask ye the same thing, lassie" Kidd shouted back.

A woman, came forth and behind her was no other then James himself.
"Oh the family back together, it's almost poetic" James grinned.

"I see ye found yerself a broad, now who's the hussie?" Kidd asked.

"Oh ye two haven't formally met? This would be Robert Moore Jr." Kidd looked up and down the woman standing before them. She had bushy brows, and a wild untamable curly red mane stuck under a grand hat with a large red feather pointing from it. Her eyes were dark brown, and quite intimidating, she wore a leather corset over her almost white shirt, and black leather boots. All in all a very lovely and very intimidating lady.

"James I think yer've been drinking sea water, that's a woman." Kidd laughed.
"By the way, big fan of yer hat"

"Rosalinda Moore Jr. pleasure is all yours" she said straitening her hat and, pulling out her hand.
