"I'm hungry" Kidd whined.

"Shut it" Cora ordered.

"If you keep whining I will throw you overboard" Chris said and looked at the map.
"Where are we going anyway?"

"Well since we were in wrong place I suggest we go the right one" Kidd snorted sarcastic. Cora took the map from Chris and said "We are heading down river" she took the wheel, but Kidd pushed her away

"Oh no ye don't, Lassie. My ship, my wheel, my everything!"

"YOUR ship? If I remember correctly, you would still be stuck back at Tortuga if we hadn't worked together to get this ship!" Cora roared and pushed Kidd back.

Kidd and Cora were shouting, punching, poking and kicking each other, whilst Chris was running around the ship with his precious spyglass.
All of a sudden the ship hit something big, and it interrupted Cora and Kidds fighting.

"What was that?" Kidd shouted down to Chris.

Chris eyes whitened, "We are sailing into a whirlpool!"

Kidd looked at Chris as if he had completed lost his mind.
"Ye do realize that the weather is perfect and that there is no possible way that a whirlpool is ahead right?" Cora pinched him, to shut him up.

"Turn the ship around!" Chris started to panic.

"Jeez, relax Lass, I'm turning, I'm turning" Kidd tried to turn the ship but the wheel was stuck.
"It won't turn!" Kidd shouted, and looked over his shoulder in hopes that Cora would be standing next to him, with some brilliant idea.
"Where the bloody hell is Cora?" Kidd asked Chris who wasn't paying any attention to anything else than the whirlpool.

Cora came out from the captains cabin and as she walked towards the helm her eyes met with Kidd.
"We are in sooo much trouble!" She whisperd to him.

"Why?" Kidd asked still trying to get the wheel to move.

"It's a Charybdis" she whisperd.

"And what might that be?" Chris had come up behind them both, Cora turned to him.

"It's a stupid sea creature that's very likely sent by my dad" Kidd grabbed Chris so he could help keep the wheel in place.

"Well can't ye just order it to, oh I don't know, get lost?!" Kidd asked frustrated by the situation.

"No, I can't, it doesn't obey me!" She whisperd angrily.

"Jeez no need to rage whisper" Kidd said and let go of the wheel leaving Chris, who didn't have the strength to hold it by himself for long

"Why are we whispering?" He asked.

Cora signed.
"It reacts to loud noises"

A strong wind started to blow, making it difficult for the crew mates to stand on their feet.
Chris who wasn't feeling to good had let go of the wheel, and threw him self on the railing.
"We really need to get away from here!" Chris said and trew up over the railing.

"LOOK OUT!" Cora shouted as Chris got thrown overboard by a rolling barrel.

"Well I ain't going to miss him" Kidd said and pulled his cutlass from his sheath.

"You have to save him!" Cora commanded.

"Why do I have to do it? Ye are the bloody mermaid not me!"

Cora tried pushing him towards the railing.
"I can't my dad will force the sea to take me back home!" She answered.
"please" she added.

Kidd signed "I better get a great new hat for this" He grabbed his cutlass and jumped into the ocean.
As his body got under water he spotted the monster. It was enormous, and it was sucking the ship closer and closer to it's mouth.
Kidd swam desperately around to find Chris and finally he spotted him, he was sinking, fast. Kidd grabbed him around his stomach and pulled him up. Back on board Cora was trying to find something she could pull Chris up in, when she finally found some cloth and some robe.
She threw her little invention down to Kidd.

"Climb on it and I'll pull you guys up" Kidd placed Chris on it, but a strong force pulled kidd back.

"KIDD!" Cora shouted.

"Pull him up!" Kidd said floating further and further away from the ship.

"No not without you!" She refused.

"Do it now!" He commanded. Cora started to pull Chris up.
"Okay beastie, let's have a little fun" Kidd said and pulled his sword.
"It's just ye and me now, just ye and old Kidd"

Kidd managed to get a hold on the ship and tried to turn towards the great big creature.

"Kidd what on earth are you doing?" Cora called out to him.

The creature was clearly in attack mode and Kidd was right in its path.
"Going to the belly of the beast" Kidd said with a wink, sword in hand.

As the monster lurched forward, Kidd set off the side of the ship and onto the creature, grabbing its fins for stability. Cora gasped as the monster whipped its body around in an attempt to free itself from Kidds grip. But Kidd was holding on tightly. The creature opened its huge mouth and angled its head in an attempt to swallow Kidd whole. But like an animal trying to lick its own neck the creature was unable to reach Kidd, who was just beneath its mouth.
The drool from the beast fully covered Kidd and caused him to lose his grip.

"Boat. Out. Now" Kidd shouted to the crew mates, but his words were swallowed by the sound of the roaring beast.

"What? I can't hear you" Cora shouted. Kidd's hand continued to slip off the monsters fin. To get a better grip Kidd placed his sword in the creatures fin, which resulted in the monster roaring even louder then before. Then the beast reared up and slammed Kidd down on the surface of the water.

Kidd was able to hold on and when the creature broke surface again and straightened its body as it had before yowling like mad, Kidd took his cutlass, inserted it just below the monsters jaw and slid down the length of the creature, cutting the beast in the process. The thick skin creature split open to reveal bluish guts covered in the dark blood. It tosses its head like mad, spraying its green slime all over the surface of the water, then collapsed in top of Kidd.

The water was still for a few moments. Chris had woken and followed the last bit of the fight, and him and Cora looked worried around the still waters in hopes of seeing their dear captain appear. But there was no sign of him.

"Oh my..." Cora said worried, putting her hand to her mouth.

Then suddenly, from behind the ship, a loud splash sounded. Something had shot out of the water again.

"Kidd!" Chris shouted, genuinely pleased to see him.

"Who were ye expecting? Davy Jones?" Kidd quipped.
The Crew looked onto the water where the caracas off the mighty beast laid in an oily pool of monster juice.

"Well," Kidd said, "looking on the bright side, we now have boatloads of meat for the rest of the journey."
