(~Your POV~)
[-After Book Ending-]

"G-Good morning." Sluggishly opening my eyes, I'm met with the two bright orange pupils of my lover. Seeing me awake made Papy smile as he ran his phalanges through my hair, "H-H-How'd you s-sleep?" I shudder at his touch, later stretching my arms out and around his neck. Instead of answering, I pull myself closer to him. It's a silent urge that I wanted him to hold me.

Mutt caught on quickly and gently wrapped his limbs around my aching body. I'll do anything to have these morning cuddles last a lifetime. His clothes are so soft. Underneath them, I can feel each of his ribs rise and fall as he breathed. Normally, I'd wake up to the hyper bouncing and giggles from our daughter. However, Asena is staying over at her uncle's for the weekend. With it being just the two of us, I don't think there's much of a rush to get out of bed so soon.

Quiet words finally left my mouth in the form of a small whine, "Mm.. Baby number two didn't make the night any easier.. You?"

Mutt grows worried almost immediately, asking a series of questions. "What h-h-happened? What t-ti-time w-were you up? Why d-d-didn't you t-tell me? D-Did y-you start having contractions a-again? Did you m-m-make s-sure to e-eat yesterday? Are you sure the b-baby's okay?!" Just to name a few of them. It only made me smile wider. Papyrus has always been scared of these pregnancies more than me.

'Still my adorable and skittish Mutt.'

I wrap my arms around him in a hug. "Mutt, this is our second kid. I'm sure it's fine." "Y-Y/N, it would b-b-be b-best if you left the work to me and r-rested a while. I-I should be taking m-more responsibility. Y-You k-k-know that." He says with a whimper. His hand met with mine under the sheets. I feel his thumb trace back and forth across my palm, displaying his nervousness.

I have to reassure him once again, nuzzling my forehead up to his jaw. "I wanted to do this. Monsters are still having troubles with getting good jobs. As long as you stay home and help when I need you, you're already doing plenty. Besides, I should be working as much as I can before this kid arrives."

'Just a few more months..'

Papyrus sighs. Then, he lovingly nuzzles back and replies, "You hungry?" I nod. This kid growing inside my stomach takes every nutrient out of me. It's crucial that I eat all three meals of the day.

Mutt is right though. I shouldn't be working this much, especially in my last trimester. But once the baby is born, I'll have to quit my job. For a period of time, most of the chores and housework will be up to Mutt. On top of that, our life won't be the same with an extra human or skeleton running around.

'I want to be helpful while I still have the full capability to.'

A reminder suddenly comes to my mind. "Crap- I just remembered. Sans sent me a text yesterday. He demands that you video chat with him to 'have a professional discussion on our recent tasks and whereabouts.'" Papyrus raises an eyebrow and smirks, "A-Again?"

His tall form sits up, pushing the blankets aside as he rose from bed. I was exposed to the chill room, sparking an electric feeling throughout my nerves. I squirm in discomfort and hurriedly hide myself back under the covers, in an effort to seal myself in the heat that was left. "What else can I say? He misses us."

Mutt shakes his head, walking over to our closet. "Sans w-will n-never admit it. Moving to the city m-m-must've been t-too much for h-h-him." Next came my sassy remark, "Your brother walks, runs, and fights in practically heels. All of us have seen it. If he can do that much in a lifetime, nothing else even stands a chance against him. Besides, Razz does have Blueberry with him."
