The day started like most have, with my horrendous sleep schedule. The last few nights have been nothing but nightmare filled dreams that shook me awake in the middle of the night. Except, this time, I woke up on the couch with Tamamo being the one who woke me up.

According to her, I was muttering Kai and Vianna in my sleep, and sweating profusely. Seeing that, she told me, "You know it isn't your fault right. I'm sure Kai and Vi would agree with me."

Even with her saying that, I still found it difficult to believe it myself.

Regardless, the day goes on, and I rather make something of it.

Knock Knock

Opening the door, I came face to face with the two kyuubi who have let me stay in their home. "Oh, good morning Yasaka, Kunou."

"Good morning Yuto. I am glad to see you doing well." Yasaka greeted me with a slight bow and a tired smile, like she just woke up recently.

"Morning Yuto..." Kunou drawled out sleepily. She most certainly just woke up.

I opened the door for them so that they may enter. "Come in. We are about to make breakfast if you would like some."

Taking the offer, Yasaka walked in while holding Kunou's hand so she could guide her. She lightly picked Kunou up and placed her on the couch, where the princess quickly snuggled up to the pillow and went back to sleep. "That would be lovely. Some food would help me with the meetings today."

"Meetings?" I asked lightly as I put an apron on and helped Tamamo make the food. The ingredients were already sprawled out, so I just prepared the stove and stirred the ingredients.

"Yes, I have a meeting with my advisers every month. We use this to check up on all of our businesses and finances, as well as the comfort of the people." She let out a sigh and set her chin on the table, "While I recognize its importance, that doesn't make it any less boring."

I stifled my laughter as I watched her behave like this. Her normal queenely demeanor was seemingly non-existent. "I assume the reason you brought Kunou here is because you wish for me to watch over her?" I looked over my shoulder to ask her.

"Yes. Saru always gives her pupils the same day to relax, that being saturday. I figured you would be available."

"I only found out recently, the day before to be exact. She said, and I quote, 'You take this day to relax. If you want to train more, that's on you.' Naturally, this applies to Ippo-sensei as well."

"That's usually how it is for her. Unless it is of utmost importance, she holds off from telling until the last second. That being said, she's always had designated days off for her pupils. While she is eccentric, there are hardly any times when she overworks her stuents." I nodded in agreement.

Actually, Saru reminded me a little of Taiga. Maybe it was the eccentricities, or maybe something about her personality.

"I would like to say otherwise, I can barely feel my arms by the time I get to Ippo-sensei." I lightly complained.

Yasaka let out a chuckle. "I never said she would make it easy for you. It is something you will get used to as you train with her."

We continued to talk until the food was finished. Once it was, Yasaka kindly ate a few plates and left, though not before waking Kunou, informing her that she would be in my care for the morning.

The princess seemed to perk up at that. She picked herself up off the couch and sat at the table. With that, Yasaka left for her meeting.

Kunou seemed more awake now that she was eating. Tamamo sat across from her and rested her head on her hands. With a smile, she asked, "So princess, any plans for today? Or would you prefer me and Yuto take the lead?"
