During the cold night, two figures could be seen. One was on her knee and gasping for air and the other stood over her with a glare.
"This all could have been avoided had you just given the clan to me." Shuten said with his sword pointed at her back.
The woman let out a laugh, she wiped the blood from her mouth and spoke back with a shaky breath. "So that my people can continue to live in isolation? I was giving them hope that this could finally be over."
"It will be, but not your way. I will guide the name Douji back to its former glory. For my name is Shuten."
After a pause of stunned silence, she started to laugh. "Really? Calling yourself Shuten. You really are an over glorified fanboy! That's hilarious!" She only received a glare as a response as Shuten raised his sword.
"Since your too stupid to understand, I'll spell it out for you." Instead of raising her arms to defend herself, attempting to back away, or charge forward, she merely leaned back and accepted her fate.
"The one who will bring the Douji ." She looked up to the sky with a smile as Shuten swung down.
Shuten opened his eyes and stared at the open village before him. The lamplights and the moonlight make it visible in the night. It's been hours after his declaration and the sounds of the village slowly turned to silence in the last hour.
"Get everyone ready." He told an oni behind him. "The raid starts now."
It's time to clean up my Sister's mess.

"So, on a scale of one to ten, how annoyed are you right now?" Yuto piped up as he set up the last of the defenses on the village chiefs building. The windows were now boarded up, along with the doors and any other way of getting in.
There were some able bodied men and women who decided to help with the defenses of the buildings. Those who couldn't, or wouldn't, were spread out between the chief's house and another which was right across from the former.
Tamamo placed a Talisman on the building and finished up the final barrier she was tasked with placing. With a sigh, she sent an annoyed glare at Yuto. "When all this is over, we better get that picnic."
"Ah, so eight. I promise we will go on a picnic once all this is over." He agreed absentmindedly. His focus wandered once he finished covering the windows.
Tamamo beamed and practically bounced on her feet. Yuto tried his best to hide his smile as he saw her happy.
Though her joy quickly faded as her ears twitched she looked towards the forest. Yuto looked towards the trees as well and saw a small group of yokai run through. Some brandished weapons and others with nothing but their fists.
Yuto grabbed a sword from his side. "Looks like Adachi was right." Yuto tilted his head and could make out Shuta and Astia down the street, they were the vanguard, while Yuto and Tamamo were in charge of protecting the house. There were minor complaints on Yuto's part, but he ultimately kept them to himself.
Looking closer, he could make out her Sacred Gear. It was a dark red sword with a half circle guard that was closer to an oval. It seemed close to the standard size, with it being as wide of her torso and a little past her hips despite it being in the ground. Only one side had a blade edge, with the other having four protrusions currently pointed down.
She nodded towards Yuto and lifted her sword. Yuto mirrored her actions as did Shuta as he dropped his relaxed stance.
"Say, isn't this the first time we are actually fighting together in this world, no? Don't plan on running away do you?" Tamamo asked as her mirror floated around her. Her sly smile made Yuto pause as a thought came across his mind.
