- festival //
Jschlatt was holding a festival for Manburg. There would be games and tons of festivities. Tommy and Wilbur planned to be there in secret.
"Tommy. I think we're the bad guys." Wilbur says.
Tommy stood in silence.
"Jshlatt won the election, fairly. Now we're trying to overthrow him." Wilbur explains.
Tommy was silent and continued to follow Wilbur.
"Tommy, am I a villain in this story? Am I the villain in your history?" Wilbur says finally.
"No. We started L'manberg, we should have won the vote." Tommy says with certainty.
"But we didn't. The people decided, and we lost." Wilbur says, he seemed different.
"Look we both agree that we are in the right." Wilbur says.
Tommy nods in response.
"Then Tommy, let's be the bad guys. Let's blow that mother fucker to smithereens." Wilbur says with a crazy look in his eye.
"If we can't have Manberg then NO ONE, NO ONE can have Manberg." Wilbur yells.
Tommy looked scared. Scared of Wilbur and what he has become.
"I want the whole thing gone. Tommy let's be villains." Wilbur laughed with a manic expression.
Wilbur was losing his mind. You could see the sparkle that once lit up his eyes fade away.
You overhear their entire conversation from inside Pogtopia. Wilbur walks in.
You just stare at him with disbelief.
"So you heard?" Wilbur asks.
"The whole thing." You reply.
"Dream told me before that he hated Jshlatt, especially as a president. He told me that if we needed help with overthrowing him or with whatever, then we would have him on our side." Wilbur says with a smile. He began breathing heavy as the smile faded.
You walk closer to Wilbur as he sits down. You cup your hand to his cheek.
"What happened to you, Wil?" You say in a soft and worried tone.
Wilbur holds your hand and leans into it. He pulls it off his face gently, keeping your hand in his.
"This fight is making me crazy." He admits.
"You don't have to go through with it." You tell him.
"But I do." He says as he stands up and walks away.
Tommy comes in shortly after with a concerned look on his face.
"He's gone mad." Tommy tells you.
"I know." You reply.
"He's forgotten the reason that we made L'manberg in the first place." Tommy rants.
"He's lost all hope. He's going to destroy what we worked so hard for. He tells me that I'm scared because I don't want to blow up the nation that means so much to me." Tommy continues.
"He tells me I'm never gonna be president. We have nothing to lose, which means we could do what we want." Tommy says, more at ease than before.
Then we realize that Wilbur has been listening to the conversation from the stairway.
They argue back and forth for a while.
"This isn't the right thing to do. You need to pull yourself together. But, if you honestly think that we need to do this, then I will stand behind you. I will help you." Tommy says.
