After celebrating your victory, you needed a walk to clear your head. The boy you grew up with, your first love wreaked havoc onto your country. The first place that you could call home since he betrayed you.

He wanted control and power, and that he would get.

"Y/n." Dream says.

It caught you off guard since you didn't see or hear him coming.

You take a deep breath before turning around and facing him.

"Dream." You greet him back.

"Can we talk?" He asks.

You nod in response.

"Let me explain, please. And don't hit me this time." Dream jokes.

You both laugh before he begins speaking.

"I didn't mean to abandon you." He starts.

You can feel tears beginning to form in your eyes.

"If I stayed with you then we both would have died." He says.

"Do you thought it was better if just I died?" You snap.

"No no. I ran so they would follow me, so they wouldn't find you." He says.

You just look at him.

"I've been to that village before, alone. They knew who I was. If they saw you with me they would want you dead too, so I ran in the opposite direction so they wouldn't be able to find you." Dream says finally.

"You were the reason why we were in that mess, Dream. I was going to get us out of it but you charged them." You say as a tear falls down your cheek.

"I know. I thought one of them recognized me so I acted without thinking." He sounded sincere.

"Not a day goes by when I don't regret everything that happened back then. When I went back to the place I had left you, you were gone." A tear roles down his face.

"If I didn't leave and get help then I would of been dead, Dream." You say.

Dream opens his mouth to say something, but you cut him off.

"But if those soldiers found me, then I would of been dead too." You realized.

You look at Dream, his eyes meeting yours. In that moment, your body moved faster than your brain. You kissed him.

You quickly pulled away, but he pulled you back in.

In that moment it felt like nothing else mattered. It felt like it was only you and him in the world. The moment didn't last long before you heard Tommy's voice.

"WHAT THE FUUU-" He yelled, Niki put her hand over Tommy's mouth before he could finish what he was saying.

Niki looked at you, with a shocked look on her face as she grabbed Tommy and walked away.

You froze, you didn't know what to do. You tried to run, but the wound on your leg from the war made it difficult.

Dream wrapped your arm around his shoulder to help you run. The two of you ran back to L'manburg but you were too late.

Wilbur was at the door waiting for you.

"Do we have another traitor on our side, Y/n?" Wilbur said, he looked furious.

"Wilbur come on, it's not like that." You cried.

"Y/n, I've put my blood, sweat, and tears into L'manburg. If you're a liability then I can't have you around here anymore." Wilbur said. He looked disappointed.
