It had been two days since we arrived back. The first day we got caught up we missed which wasn't much thanks so Sean and Nala. I swear I could kiss them right now for helping us out. My dad and Noah returned back to their pack to do the same, plus I know Noah missed Aurora. I couldn't blame him, though. I missed Lucas like crazy when they went to see the Werewolf king.

Speaking of werewolf King. Lucas and I called him and updated him on our plans and the progress. Whenever he learned we had Octavia with us he flipped out. I got him to calm down and explained to him that she was completely safe and was more than happy to be here. It wasn't something that King Julien could force her into. The girl was badass!

On the second day Lucas and Sean went to go meet with King Julien while I stayed back. Lucas gave me and Ty task to do and we plan on finishing it. That's where we were heading right now with Tanners phone in my hand. I made sure it was charged up and even paid his phone bill so there were no excuses as to why he couldn't call Alden. Well we.

Before walking into the cells I told one of the two guards to press record on the interrogation office so that Lucas would be able to watch it. We decided to take him into the interrogation office instead of the interrogation room because again.. I wanted him to trust us.

Passing Octavia's cell, I seen her asleep and continued on to Tanners cell where he was snacking on some Doritos. We kept the silver cuffs off him and any wolfsbane out of his system to get him healed up. He had scars, lost all his muscles and weight, but other than that he was looking a lot better. When I started unlocked him cell he looked up to me.

"Hey, we need to talk so we're gonna take you to the interrogation office."
"Why? What happened?" He asked.
"Nothing. It's just time to get the dice rolling. The faster we get her to your uncle, the safer we all are."

He nodded his head agreeing then followed my with Ty behind him to the office. When we got inside he sat in the empty seat on one side of the table while Ty and I took the empty two on the opposite side. I placed him phone on the table and he took it hesitantly turning it on.

"I charged it and paid your phone bill so don't try to make any excuses to get out of this. I need you to call Alden."
"Why do I have to do it?" He asked.
"Because you're apart of the plan, are you not?"
"Oh yeah. I can defined see that from my cell." He said sarcastically.
"Tanner, we have been treating you better and feeding you better. No one has laid a hand on your since you got here and that won't change."

It was true though. We actually haven't decided on what to do with him yet. One thing we do know is that we still don't trust him.

"That's because you're using me for this right here and to get a meeting with my uncle." He deadpanned.

I looked at him with my eyebrow raised causing him to shrug.

"Tanner... you fucking know me, dude. You know how I am. If i was using you just to call your uncle, I wouldn't go through the trouble of buttering you up by treating you like a human being and giving you a choice. I would have you beaten and made to comply wether I had to command you to or not." I answered honestly.

He starred at me for minutes thinking before he spoke again.

"What do I honestly get out of this, Nova?" He asked
"Honestly, It's not up to me. That's something you're going to ask Lucas about. I may b the Luna of this pack and his equal, but at the end of the day it's his call, but I will promise you this. If you help me get my life back that you helped steal from me, I will gladly not kill you like I told you I would. We'll figure something out."

The fact that I just promised him that I wouldn't kill him made him relieved. I could tell by the way he immediately let his guard down like that was what he was hoping I would say.
