“Ashley you are staying here”, Cassandra basically growled at her sister. “Awww come on cassie I wanna see this pretty lady’s house”, Ash did a lip bite while looking at y/n. This gave the h/c girl a laugh and Cass shoved the taller female into her house, slamming the door shut. “I’m so sorry about her”, Cass groaned. “It’s alright ‘Cassie’”, y/n copied the redhead’s sister. Cassandra growled, her face heating up, “Shut the hell up”. She grabbed y/n’s hand and began dragging her away. Y/n giggled and ran to catch up with the girl who was dragging her away.

    “Thank you for walking me home Cass”, the girl’s e/c eyes reflected the light of the stars above them. Cassandra looked down on the girl, a small smile plastered on her lips. ‘I really do care about her’. And at that thought The girl’s face turned almost as red as her hair. Y/n grinned and reached up towards Cassandra’s face. Her arms wrapped around the taller girl’s neck. Cassandra’s eyes opened in shock, her heart beating faster as the girl neared. Just then y/n pulled her in and held her in a close hug, her head rested on Cassandra’s shoulder.

    Cassandra’s heart skipped a beat. She was hoping for a kiss but this was just as good. The feeling of your worn old shirt beneath her rough hands in that tight hug was just enough. It showed that you cared and that’s all that mattered to her. Someone who cared.

    Y/n let go of her and stepped back, a small grin pressed to her lips, she looked into Cassandra’s starlit eyes hoping for her to make her own move. Cass noticed this but right as she was about to say something (y/n) cut her off, wrapping her arms around her neck and pulled her into a kiss. Cass's eyes widened but she wrapped her arms around (y/n)'s back to keep her there. Neither of them ever wanted this moment to end. But (y/n) slowly pulled away, releasing her arms from around the other girl's neck, pressing her hands against her chest.
    
    Just then her face burst into flames, realizing what she had done. “WeLp, goodnight”, her soft voice hung in the air as she pushed herself off of Cass and ran back to her front door and waved running inside.

“Y-Yeah… see you...?”, Cassandra said to herself wishing the h/c girl would have just stayed, if not for a moment longer so they could hold eachother still in that warm night air.
